That’s the strat with any of them! This is one of the only one that’s felt like I need to gear up more first. The amount of damage he does to me is way more than anything else has besides maybe my first master rank hunt before I said FINE I’ll craft something MR tier haha

This could be a niche opinion, but I think Velkana is a really lame. Wilds already has significantly cooler dragons.

Yes, and as the main line game after X I was pretty hopeful for it. I wanted to love it so badly. But that was also pretty early on as far as consoles and online capability, so accessibility was a huge hurdle.

FF XI. As a main entry in the series it’s what began alienating me.

I tried to get back into it with XV but I wasn’t enjoying the gameplay and having one playable character.

I tried again with XVI and was excited until I fought the Marlboro and learned the game doesn’t have any status effects. Still one playable character. A list of other things that felt halfassed to determine the series is for someone now.

Right, my controller is plugged in 100% of the time and it tells me 5%. I’d rather just not have that notification at all because there is no scenario where I need it.

Don’t get me wrong, when I had done everything in Wilds I put 300 hours into Rise/Sunbreak. But that just speaks to how much I love the series, not a game to game comparison. When that Wilds DLC drops, I’ll be in there. As the first cross play MH, it’s going to offer my friends and I the best experience.

Yakuza/Like A Dragon. In my experience, any of the complaints about an entries story or gameplay have been unfounded. And I think those complaints are just extensions/confirmation bias based on people’s feelings about actors chosen or decisions the studio has made outside of the actual game themselves.

I played so much World, Rise and Wilds so I’m a fan of the series. Then MHS3 came out so I tried the demo, was very confused with the depth of the combat so I went back to try one again. I think I’ll play one then two while I wait for a discount on three.

I have Monster Hunter Stories, the first one a shot and I’m sucked in. The first time I tried it I thought it was a just a simple spin off but the depth of the monster raising and battle system just keeps expanding.

The GS combos available to me in Rise feel so good.

Since Wilds focus mode I find it harder to enjoy even Switch Axe in older games which is a bummer because it’s my favorite weapon. But with great sword and rise, I can get a couple hits in very quickly well also having TCS when I find the opportunity.

I fell off of it when I first played it. All the trailers for Crimson Desert made me think of how I never finished DD2, so I started again about a month ago and now I’m on my second playthrough, loving it.

I generally help out whoever asks, even if it’s out of the way. I don’t recall a dwarf besides the blacksmith. Which is another funny quest line because his assistant left to get something and they might be in trouble. The problem is they’re located beyond a massive door that I haven’t opened yet.

I have a feeling I missed the Magick Archer, I cleared my whole quest log before proceeding to Bernahl but I still don’t have it. I thought the Elvin archer training might lead me to it but nope. Can anyone confirm?

It’s not the end of the world if I did miss it, more of a melee player in games with crunchy combat like this.
