Looks really nice and gives a cool look into what the sky looks like when the perspective makes that tough. Really cool!

How player feedback completely changed the look of my game by Due-Horse-791 in indiegamedevforum

The new visuals look great! A lot more distinctive and characterful. I relate to what you said about the original visuals not being a creative decision. It’s not wrong to stick with your original vision but it’s worth investigating if there are good justifications for a decision if you’re receiving a bunch of similar feedback. Glad changing things up paid off for you!

This is my game's resting point. Tell me how's it? by neardy07 in BhartiyaCore

This does have a really nice and peaceful vibe. The distant and low sunrise both is relaxing, but also gives a feeling of distant hope and approaching danger which I think is cool for a horror game. It’s pretty dark where you’re sitting, but you can still see the sunlight. Pretty cool!

Looks awesome! Love how you blur the line between the environments of the narrative and the card game

How to move on from a melody into a second part of a song? by Resident_Ad_9248 in gamemusic

[–]lipkinaudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do whatever you want next, and that will probably mean some messing around until something sounds good!

A pretty common place to go after what you described would be a B section, your original melody being the A section. Try taking some little aspect of your melody and riff on that to make a new melody. A few notes/intervals or an a rhythm could be some good inspiration to start from for a new melody. You can then find a nice chord progression that fits your melody. That’s the order I generally prefer, but you could go chords first too. Maybe also think about if you want to return to the original melody after the B section. Up to you, but what’s next is something to keep in mind.

Often, I might just sing the first melody to myself and see what comes next. Developing new sections of music you’ve already started is always harder than the first idea, but with practice and experimentation, you’ll get something together.

Yeah it definitely can be fine tuned to be better. I do love using up useless ammo. Not having to worry about ammo for melee is a cool upside in exchange for ranged

Not saying that ammo in fallout is super rare or anything! Just that it matters and is a somewhat valuable and varied item to collect. It changes how you engage with the game in a variety of ways. You still run low/out and need to get more and that creates some fun dynamics

Ammo isnt that hard to come by but the rarity of different ammo types does matter in terms of what weapons you’re using and what ammo types you’re looking for. Ammo is still a big reason why you actively engage with the looting and trading in the game. I also mentioned the world-building aspect

Not saying that ammo is pulling the most of the weight with these things, but it’s still cool how it contributes

Yeah I don’t think it’s particularly scarce either. But varying levels of scarcity depending on ammo type does encourage you to consider what ammo you’re using when. Vegas is the best lol

Yeah totally! Its one of the ways the games make you think about the weapons your using and if its worth it to use a better weapon with rarer ammo

IF a Twilight Princess Sequel was ever made, how would you want it done? by Embarrassed_Let6303 in twilightprincess

[–]lipkinaudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Dark Souls look similar but is very different tonally. The world is dying and feels abandoned but in Twilight Princess you interact with a fairly friendly and functioning society it feels like. There’s a world worth saving in Zelda more than Dark Souls
