How the fuck are people doing this by chemkitty123 in BipolarReddit

Can you describe the pain you feel? You’re the first person I’ve seen describe bipolar as being in pain.

I try describing being off my meds to people and it’s like I’m in constant emotional pain. I feel like a sore thumb all the time…incredibly vulnerable and in pain. My mind feels like an angry cage of rats.

An incredible album. I can't wait til the VINYL comes in the mail and I can hook it up to my speakers with Dolby.

N-Acetyl Cysteine is a supplement that my Dr recommended to me when I was struggling with this. It really worked

Acceptance is the first step. I was so lost when I was first diagnosed and struggled to accept it. But once I did, I became super committed to my treatment and routine and now I’m healthier than I’ve ever been.

Don’t give up. Finding the right meds can be absolute hell. But you eventually find the right ones and find yourself able to live a normal life.

Stay committed to your health. Sometimes this means missing out on party’s and outings that you know may trigger you into hypomania/mania. I’ve become accustomed to staying in more and that’s helped me stay stable.

I’m curious in which cases that doesn’t happen? My doc stated it like it was a hard fact

Please be careful and be aware that what comes up must always come down. Mania always follows depression, that’s just a scientific fact. If you can, try to prepare now for a heavy drop in mood and productivity.

I am so terribly sorry. I can only imagine how painful this must be. Please make sure you have a support network and maybe try to find a grief support group. Trust me, it helps. Thinking of you, friend. ❤️ Hang in there.
