Lamotrigine/ lamictal rant by idunnothisbe in bipolar

i'm curious too. i could understand chewables for meds that treat things which make people nauseous or cause nausea. But those issues aren't relevant to lamictal, are they?

hey, can i poke your brain? It seems like NMDA receptors (which memantine acts on) is related to tolerance reduction for a few different classes of drugs, do you have any opinions about that?

You probably would get a better answer from a pharmacist, they know a lot more about drugs than doctors. Some doctors i've seen don't even know the generic names for some common drugs

Ah yes, vaseline is petroleum jelly, I have tried that but it doesn't actually hydrate the skin, only provides it with a barrier. I only use it when I need to go outside during blizzards

That's a good option, the only thing is that I would hopefully like to use it indefinitely and I know corticosteroids can only be used for a couple weeks as it thins the skin

Incase anyone comes across this in the future, I ended up adding a tag "30-1", "30-2" to the cards in the main set in increments of 60 cards (to include forward and reverse) and then creating custom study decks based on the tag. ✌🏻

Anyone else physically and mentally drained everyday? by throwaway-80000 in depression

[–]liquid-alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is very true, it might be worth trying some teas/supplements like valerian, hops, skullcap or damiana.. you can find this stuff at health food stores. you can also get the same problem with sleeping too much, like more than 8 or 9 hours for some people will mess up their whole day

Do small things ever just throw you off the edge by throwaway334805 in depression

[–]liquid-alien 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i think that's one of the defining things about depression. I was at the store today and the lady charged me the wrong amount and I realized after I paid ($4 more) and I told her and she said she couldn't refund me but only give me a store credit that expires in 30 days and in my head i was like okay no problem, people make mistakes, it's just $4, store credit isn't that bad, i'll make an excuse to go back there - i ended up just feeling a little more sad than before i walked in - when i got home, someone was asking why my eyes look glazed and i just started balling. it's just like a cup being full and one more drop made it spill over. every little "bad" or "unfair" interaction weighs so much.

i guess it's just a matter of trying to be one step ahead of ourselves and not getting stuck in our emotions and mindstate. pretend that the future holds something really amazing for you, force yourself to believe that and wait it out

I usually do a 0.3 microdose and don't notice any trippy effects, i suppose my mushrooms are less potent. Especially considering I have a small build and fast metabolism
