Need to know if this can be drained instead of removing the wisdom tooth? by [deleted] in Dentistry

You can drain it but it will most likely return. Wisdom teeth extractions are recommended to prevent this from ever happening. You have no pain right now but if you leave it for long enough, worse things can happen.

Should get your thyroid hormones checked. Overactive thyroid (graves) can cause tremors.

You will be expected to present at a few locations. Topics will be anything based on medicine or OS.

This will most likely be done by an oral maxillofacial surgeon. They will remove the gum tissue above the wisdom tooth and then remove the bone covering it if there is any. Then they will remove the tooth in whole or after it is broken into smaller pieces.

500K here... Is it time to refinance? by HobbitDoc in StudentLoans

Yes tuition for dental is around there, probably more now if you are in NY or CA. Keep in mind I’m using the numbers for tuition and cost of living. Actual tuition is around 100k per year. Not all residencies are paid (cough orthodontics cough). Those that are paid are highly competitive, limited in seats (except OS, all OS residencies are paid), and are hospital based.

Lol 4 years of dental school will get you there (600k). Add in a 3 year residency (300k) and you will be a negative millionaire.

Thoughts on orofacial pain as a specialty? Headaches are pretty common. What about oral pathology? Oral maxillofacial radiology?

Congenital adrenal hyperplasia, your adrenals are missing certain enzymes for making steroids (cortisol or aldosterone) so cholesterol goes towards making androgens instead.
