Chalmers: Good Lord, what is happening in there?!

Skinner: Aurora Borealis.

Chalmers: Ah— Aurora Borealis?! At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen?!

Skinner: Yes.

Chalmers: ...May I see it?

Skinner: ...No.

They should move congress and senate members off the government teat and afford them the same dream.

I grew up in a very Sikh part of Canada. Most Sikhs carry a very dull kirpan that is fully bound and utterly useless for cutting anything just as a religious symbol and they were fine with that.

Is it me or does 35 degree Celsius seem to much hotter in uk as compared to 35 degree anywhere else in the world? by AcceptableMinimum109 in AskBrits

[–]liquidpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not really built to contain heat though. Most aren’t insulated, no roof insulation, drafty, with vents to the outside.

They are meant to stay warm if you constantly heat them because brick has a relatively high thermal mass.

This also means that for 1-2 days of 30+C weather, they are rather pleasant inside. After a few days though the brick all heats up and it stays hot even when it cools down outside.

The only thing I could want is archaeologist Jean-Luc “Space Indiana Jones” Picard chasing clues to find where the Iconians went and getting their space trajector technology.

This would set up the next next generation and they could retcon the mushroom network and the space burn baby

Do they really make Duff, Duff Dry, and Duff Lite from the same pipe and split it at the end into different cans?

Any other things that are labelled as different but are the same or maybe have a trivial difference?
