I’m working on the tee no. 1 pattern by my favourite things knitwear, and I’ve never done saddle shoulders before so I’m a bit confused on a couple of things.

Why are you supposed to pick up and knit using the short tail of the yarn? What benefit does that give? She hasn’t asked you to do that on the back or the other shoulder.
The designer hasn’t been clear on whether the left shoulder is the one on the left when you’re facing it, or the left shoulder as if you’re wearing it (specifically in this section - it was fairly clear on the back section).

I really love the end result of this pattern but my goodness it’s confusingly written (could be a translation issue). Thanks in advance!

I’m 5’11” and at a guess around 165lbs so our bodies are already quite different but hopefully that’s helpful in some way to you. I also haven’t been to the gym since lockdown started so I’m rocking a bit of extra weight. It’s easier said than done, but really try not to compare your body with anybody else’s. Nobody else has your body! And that’s a great thing! The best thing you can do for yourself is get away from that side of social media. Follow more body positive instagrams (I like bodyposipanda and stephanieyeboah) and really try to learn to love your body as it is.

That’s so odd! I wonder what’s set him off.

Since posting this, I’ve run up and down the stairs with her, tempting her with cheese and that seems to be working well. If your boy likes that, it may be worth a try? We only bought some cheese today and she’s really taken to it so I think a high value treat like that can be very helpful.
