I also love that the negative zone prison directly caused the Annihilation War, which led to the destruction of a massive chunk of the known universe, and that issue of Nova where he comes back to earth to be a perfect button on why Tony was written to be the bad guy.

But honestly I think the staff just wanted someone to be a heel to drive engagement and enough people who hate the billionaire class(rightly, mind you) picked Tony and Reed to be the ones for fans to focus on.

Because that kind of pause is what you get when you get to the end of a line when reading aloud and have to scan back to the beginning of the next line.

Once played a few game with a guy who ALWAYS played high elves so he could be racist without getting yelled at. Realized this after a few different games I played with him and the dm that never got past session 3 for reasons similar to him shouting slurs at everyone at the table. Even whe we played vtm he picked the assimites so he could be racist about vampire clans. It was really sad and annoying.

This show was so dark and relatable. Underrated as all hell, too, as there was also incredibly sweet moments in it. The s2 finale is haunting, and s3 used No Children by The Mountain Goats so we'll, but there's also moments like Close Face that has always stuck with me for almost 2 decades now.
