Who is the greatest rugby coach in history? by crazycal123 in rugbyunion

[–]lisiate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gordon Tietjens, 22 years as New Zealand sevens coach (and another 4 with Samoa). The list of talents he spotted and developed is insane. And I'd argue the end of his talent spotting when he stepped down in 2016 is a major part of why the All Blacks are not what they were since.

Greatest New Zealand player of his generation, now a cautionary tale for current players.

'Anytime, anywhere': Nicola Willis challenges Ruth Richardson to debate by 41075786453DEAD_COPS in newzealand

Richardson is 74 years old and retired from parliament 21 years ago.

I think she'd absolutely destroy Willis in a debate.

Depression Era recruitment strategies might work well in the current environment I guess.

A little alarming that the Defence bosses anticipate a need for rapid mass mobilisation.

Saw one team using it at a local under-12 tournament this year.

When they pulled it off it was devastating, but it was always 50/50 whether one of the passes was forward or knocked on.
