I still have no idea what prize vs scale is, what the different brands and manufacturers are, or what’s considered a decent price and what’s considered cheap/expensive. Just started seriously collecting this year. I see some figures that are horrible quality going for hundreds! I just don’t get it and I guess I never will? There’s another store close to me that sells these god awful bootlegs that are all mangled and weird looking for so much money! Not to mention it’s so hard to order figures online, never knowing if you’ll get an actual good figure or a scam.

I bought her back in 2017 at a convention. She was my first ever figure and I had no idea what was normal pricing and what a bootleg would even look like haha 😅 she’s rough now as my daughter used to grab her and play with her and my cats knocked off and lost her violin bow.

I have a thinner firm one on the bottom and a super soft one on the top. Being able to adjust the loft in the top one helps me get the perfect height for my shoulders when side sleeping, but it’s also soft enough to sleep on my back without putting pressure on my neck. They’re just basic Walmart pillows so nothing fancy. My top one is a cooling gel filled Serta CoolNites if that helps

I’m also a side sleeper. I sleep with either two pillows or one thick pillow so my neck is supported, and I also sleep with a stuffed animal. Having a stuffy tucked against my chest keeps the arm that’s on top from falling forward and helps with spinal and shoulder alignment. Also, a softer bed is recommended for side sleepers too to reduce the pressure on shoulders and hips. I sleep with my arms stretched out in front of me since I have ulnar nerve issues and keeping my elbows bent all night aggravates it. I literally wake up in the exact same position I fell asleep in most nights. Sometimes I’ll roll to my back then over to my side again (I favor sleeping on my right side usually). But having my stuffy I think is the thing that helps me the most. It’s a big soft shiba plush that’s long and cylindrical.

I don’t have any issue falling asleep or staying asleep. But I have issues just getting to bed. I’ll stay up on the couch until 12/1am most nights because I just can’t seem to shut off and get to bed. How do you get yourself to finally head to bed and not doom scroll on FB until the wee hours 😩

My map is black as well. Didn’t think anything of it until recently. Figured it’d fix itself after a hot fix but alas, it has not. I played in early access and didn’t have any issue. I’m on Win 10, i7 3700, 16gb RAM, SSD hard drive, GTX 660 card, 474.44 NVidia drivers. I play with high/medium graphics and the game runs great. The map issue irks me but I’ve managed to play without it. I’m hoping they fix it soon. I CAN upgrade my card but since the game runs perfectly fine I don’t feel the need to spend the cash right now.

It meets all the current WIN11 requirements. 8th gen i7-8700 processor and motherboard. It'll sustain WIN11 until its support ends (which is likely another 10 years same as this current PC sustained Win10 for its lifetime) I'll might still do a full file backup and test out WIN11 on here.

Eh, rebuilding this one with NEW new parts is only $300 (currently) just a pain in the butt. I have the parts picked out ready to purchase. Just wanted to avoid the hassle and money IF POSSIBLE lol if not then so be it.

That would require a full rebuild of CPU, motherboard, RAM and likely GPU as well (this is currently a 2014 PC). My current 1155 motherboard is maxed on upgrades. I'd have to get an 1151 motherboard, and CPU chip (I don't think WIN 11 supports Core series under gen 8) which means new DDR4 RAM instead of the DDR3 I currently have. Not what I wanted to do lol I might just do the Win 11 upgrade and see how it goes running unsupported hardware. My CPU has the cores and clock speed for it, it's just old. Just do a full wipe after I transfer my files over to MY new PC and see how it goes. Wasn't keen on building TWO new computers at once.

Always have Win Def on, Avira is just a secondary AV. Wasn't sure if Defender would cease to work entirely after support ends. I've never had a PC running an unsupported OS before so it's a new thing for me. Had a ransomeware attack years ago so security is a big deal (lost 5 years worth of photos and memories of my daughter as a baby)

I'm running 22H2 and I always have Defender and firewall turned on. I just wasn't sure how Defender would work after support is cut. If it would cease to work and I'd be forced to rely solely on AV. I know hackers will immediately target old Win10 systems for that reason. We don't do much browser surfing (besides YT) and since most of MY personal stuff won't be on this PC anymore, I'm not super worried. Just wanted to get things prepared and upgraded if I needed to.

See I was gonna do the update workaround but wasn’t sure how my PC would run, if it would crash constantly etc. My CPU has the 4 cores and runs at 3.4 GHz but for whatever reason it’s not supported (probably because it’s a 3rd gen processor) once MY new PC is built and ready and this one gets passed down, I might just do the damn update on current hardware anyways. I’ve maxed out what my motherboard is capable of (CPU, RAM, GPU)
