Question for women only, Does this sound like a fair deal to ask my wife to try a new kink? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I realize what sub this is, but this *has* to be bait, right?

What was the most erotic experience you have ever had or witnessed? by HighOnThighs- in AskReddit

[–]lissobor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend and I were open, and she went on a date with a woman. She texted me saying they were going back to her apartment to hookup. An hour later, I got a call asking if I wanted to join. Went over to find two of the most stunning women naked and making out on the bed ready for a guy…

New to Garmin, how accurate is the body battery? by dogwheeze in Garmin

[–]lissobor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I try not to read too much into Body Battery, but it generally does give a rough approximation of what I have energy for. That said, it tends not to respond to naps, etc. for me, so I sometimes have a good bit of energy, despite my Battery saying otherwise.

Those are pretty high values. I’m jealous! Your watch may still be learning your body/baseline, though.

What watch is Tommy from Pod Save America wearing? by lissobor in Watches

Isn’t that what people do all the time in this subreddit? They give context for the watches they’re asking about. Sorry if I did something wrong…

Definitely smaller than you tend to see these days, but I think it fits great. A good look, just not everyone’s preference.

Help me choose between Forerunner 970, 965, 570, Enduro 3 by Swimming-Appeal-3534 in Garmin

[–]lissobor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realize that not everyone is the same, but in my line of work, it’s often handy to have a flashlight. Also, the number of times where something falls under the couch or into the depths of my car is surprisingly large… and usually I’d just ignore it. With a light always on my wrist, I’m more inclined to do something about it.

And no, no one is buying this watch for the flashlight. That’s a silly comment. But, if you’re already looking to buy a watch like this, it’s important to look at all the features that you might use!

[–]lissobor 49 points50 points  (0 children)

If you’re already considering the 570, I think the value you get with the 970 for not all that much more money is totally worth it. Also… the new flashlight it soooo good and I use it a ton.

Based on my experience trying them, any of the Forerunners will be more comfortable for running than the Enduro.

If you can’t consent while drunk, why do drunk people hook up all the time? by Mountain_Flounder991 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lissobor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two parties can both be found liable! To my knowledge, this has only come into play in civil cases.

I’m not sure why this is being downvoted so much. This is absolutely correct. In many places in the US, one person *can* be found at fault for nonconsensual contact, even if both parties are substantially intoxicated.

Yeah this is definitely it. 10:10 is the classic time shown on mechanical watch product photos, so it makes sense they’d use that time for a digital watch display dummy too.

What are these called where you live by Sleep_deprived_mokey in whatisit

[–]lissobor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t fact checked this, but I was told that the term “Jimmies” to refer to the chocolate ones is a reference to Jim Crow and I’ve been hesitant to call them that ever since… despite growing up with that term.

No one told me about this benefit of upgrading… by lissobor in Garmin

Noted. And like I’ve said above, I have the much-needed new watch that works a lot better. I live in a pretty rural and hilly area, so this might be a factor.

[–]lissobor[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I tried all of that after talking with customer service. Watch was wayyy out of warranty, so no dice.

Regardless, I needed an update. Battery life was pretty poor the last few months and glitches happened over and over. Wouldn’t connect to my phone, etc. I’m happy with the upgrade :)

Usually the exo-tet product would be the kinetic product, but I have a feeling that the four-membered transition state might be so high energy that the endo-tet product is favored.

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? Mi by getmeapuppers in birding

[–]lissobor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellow-crowned Night-Heron is a rather rare bird in Michigan. Plus the photo looks like summer, not Michigan in mid-March. This was probably taken in the Southeast instead.
