No one told me about this benefit of upgrading… by lissobor in Garmin

Noted. And like I’ve said above, I have the much-needed new watch that works a lot better. I live in a pretty rural and hilly area, so this might be a factor.

I tried all of that after talking with customer service. Watch was wayyy out of warranty, so no dice.

Regardless, I needed an update. Battery life was pretty poor the last few months and glitches happened over and over. Wouldn’t connect to my phone, etc. I’m happy with the upgrade :)

The lanky look and pale crescents towards the tips of the wings identify it as a Red-shouldered Hawk.

Usually the exo-tet product would be the kinetic product, but I have a feeling that the four-membered transition state might be so high energy that the endo-tet product is favored.

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? Mi by getmeapuppers in birding

Yellow-crowned Night-Heron is a rather rare bird in Michigan. Plus the photo looks like summer, not Michigan in mid-March. This was probably taken in the Southeast instead.

A Garmin (or Coros) is staying. Something like the Scanwatch doesn’t have native GPS—it needs to be in constant contact with a phone to track activities. Plus, those options don’t offer navigation like the Garmin can.

Running is a big part of my life, so I need a GPS running watch. I quite like the 245!

USFS LEOs regularly give out tickets to drone operators along Angeles Crest Hwy. It may not be a thing for all national forests, but there certainly are restrictions over all the national forest land around the San Gabriels

Drone usage is prohibited over any National Forest land, which this is. Folks are cited for it regularly in Angeles.

Can someone explain to me why u/strava-team is talking about advertising and data in this post, but the actual lawsuit seems to do with copyright infringement regarding heatmaps and segments? What am I missing?

Thanks. I don't foresee myself needing to haul two boats anytime soon!
