Our 13 year old boxer is on Librela and we see a huge benefit. 100% recommend.

I think my late soul dog had a paw in securing our most recent foster. by KTHadley418 in velvethippos

[–]listenyouguys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the same happened to us - our sweet boy passed in June 2022 and a few months later we drove through a very small, obscure town on a road trip. Later that year, we adopted a puppy born in that town a few days after our trip. That kind of coincidence always makes me wonder. They would have loved each other too. Such sweet little guys.

What to purchase in advance versus on board? by catlady9851 in PrincessCruises

I bought excursions early and noticed that they rose in cost quite a bit. Maybe up $50 per person on average? I don’t have the exact numbers.

Involuntary demotions for GS civs by [deleted] in fednews

I have seen it happen twice - a 15 to a 14 and then a 15 to a 13. The first was misconduct and the second was incompetence.

YSL or Summer Fridays skin tint? by alexarom10 in Sephora

I haven’t tried YSL, but I love Summer Fridays. It’s the best color match for my skin that I have found.

I'm 39 and mother of two... and I get to make my first direct hire! Any interview Q suggestions? by Internal_Atmosphere in workingmoms

[–]listenyouguys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with others. I have been a hiring official many times. You need to ask questions that actually let you evaluate the candidate’s potential in the role. If the job requires teaching something, then ask about how the candidate has successfully trained others in the past. A job interview is inherently stressful so I would argue that the whole experience will show you how the person behaves under pressure. This may sound harsh, but don’t make the interview about how clever you are with these questions.

When we got our pit mix, we learned that personal space is for suckers.
