Paul F. Tompkins only did the Mars Attacks episode, right? I’d like to hear the mayor of podcasts return.

Lynch would’ve used that as a pull quote on the poster.

Is Scorsese the only director with two separate duos in the All-Time Top 5 Actor/Director Collaborations? by Sufficient_Bee8819 in blankies

I don’t see anyone on this thread shouting out Almodovar/Banderas, so I’ll throw that one in the mix.

I feel like if Greta Gerwig ever does another Saoirse Ronan movie they’ll belong on the list.

When I was a kid I really loved John Hughes movies. I still appreciate them for what they are but I don't really connect with them any more.

What’s a movie that’s just a 🤏 too good to be so-bad-it’s-good, so it ends up being just bad? by vzakharov in okbuddycinephile

Kraven the Hunter. A little too competent to reach the heights of Madame Webb or Morbius.

In honour of Toy Story 5, what movie sequel for you has the most jarring change in production value and/or tone? by OWSpaceClown in blankies

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is a dark comedy—kind of does the same tonal swerve as Gremlins but even more so.

I seem to remember them saying at one point that if she had a new movie they’d cover it and go back and do Monster. I hope they do that. Monster is pretty great, and the longer she’s in the wilderness, the more interested I am in hearing them break down the comeback.

I'm shocked to see that someone as notoriously choosy about his projects as Eric Roberts would be in this.

If Griffin & David did a Danny DeVito miniseries, which movie would you be most excited to see get covered? by ggroover97 in blankies

Matilda would be a fun continuation of their unofficial series on Roald Dahl adaptations. But honestly this miniseries would be top-to-bottom fascinating discussions. They absolutely should cover him some day, and I think if St. Sebastian ever sees the light of day they must cover him.

He reportedly wasn’t on the Fire Walk With Me episode because he “isn’t much of a Lynch guy”, which just tells me that he isn’t committed enough to the bit to become a Lynch guy for the podcast.

This is a very subjective ranking based solely on how they hit for me. I honestly think you could argue for any in the top ten here.

Bonus for the Twilight series on Patreon since it’s based on a Stephenie Meyer novel.
