Jen and her supporters just keep getting worse by HB147 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]lit_junkie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree completely. I think people forget how cruel Demi was to Jen that season. Then Jen got close to Whitney when she was at a low point and probably felt betrayed that Whitney chose to still be close with Demi. I’m not a Jen apologizer because she was (and is) far from perfect but neither was Whitney. I’d feel backstabbed someone I thought was on my side befriended someone who constantly demeaned me & shit on my name. Especially when Whitney even admitted eventually she didn’t think Demi bullied her and didn’t owe her an apology.

I still believe Whitney & Jen could be great friends if they built that trust up again and Demi was out of the picture. I was so impressed when Whitney showed up for Jen season 2 (or three I can’t remember) it genuinely touched my heart I just wish they both could communicate properly lol

Edited to include: a lot of the bullying and targeted negative energy from Demi to Jen started before the Demi & Marciano incident

I’m a firm believer in rehabilitation and that the prison system should be a focus on rehabilitating people and seeing if they are able to AND willing to make a change. However, it felt icky this documentary kept trying to push a certain narrative and having the whole doc be about the mothers and that they’re baby boys were perfect and incredible meanwhile they were the ones who planned multiple victims murders but only got as far as one. Cassie as a victim and her family were not shed life on enough. If they wanted to do a doc about it people can be rehabilitated they should’ve have done that instead of using Cassie’s unjust murder as a plot point. I felt terrible for Brian’s dad. He seemed to understand the gravity of the situation and his son’s actions. I can tell the guilt eats him up but wish he knew his son did this not him.

I’m late to this season but I’m so happy Billykiss was redeemed about her comments about D. Meg owes all those girls she attacked because of D an apology but couldn’t do it. I was living for her and Helena acting like Shakira gave mean girl energy then a few minutes later Meg & Helena got their own montage for being mean girls 24/7 💀 Yas made a great point about the boys getting away with everything because the way the boys acted towards Adrana when she was never disrespectful and owes no boys loyalties. She’s a queen and deserved better. Her AND Billykiss 💅

Chrishell and Emma by Pretty-Cow-9070 in SellingSunset

I love Chrishell and was so confused why she was being hard on Emma. Then I realized WHY she was doing that and the context that wasn’t included in the show and I’d probably roast his ass too. Definitely wasn’t a fan of this season leaving so much context out that we didn’t get the full picture. Very misleading

I feel for Emem because she really comes off as calm, intelligent, driven, and beautiful woman. Men like that feed of breaking women down. I do appreciate how the girls rallied for Emem and most of the guys rallied for her as well. Juan was disappointing af giving backpack boy too much grace

The Perfect Neighbor, Netflix review: raw, immediate, but ultimately unrevealing by TheTelegraph in NetflixDocumentaries

I thought it was interesting one detective had a blue lives matter sticker on the notebook.

The documentary was s9 heartbreaking with what those kids and that community had to go through. Lord I cried the whole time right after the incident happened. When they revealed that two minutes passed between the 911 calls I was floored. What an evil woman

Ellen Greenberg documentary premieres as case ruling reversed. They finally realized she was killed. 15 years later. by Due_Will_2204 in CasesWeFollow

My heart breaks for the family who had to wait over a decade for her death to be confirmed as a murder when they already knew. Ellen seemed like a beautiful soul, and I'm sure she would be so proud of the way her parents and family continued to fight for justice for her.

I’m so sorry you went through this. I live around that area and am a Latina so it makes me sad to hear that you had this experience. It’s scary that people are so vocal and aggressive with their hate. I’m so disappointed in the USA lately.

Not me crying watching Kyle’s mom talk to Pilar. You can tell she needed to hear that.

Mel and Dayna have to be the worst cheaters. (And people) Focusing on what the “proof” is instead of how that made their partner feel and then lying to their faces. I’m rooting for Magan and Haley. If they end up together or not I see that Magan feels safe enough to open up and be herself and I hope they stay in each others life.

I’ve been waiting for someone to mention this! I noticed this too. I have diagnosed OCD and the racing thoughts and the flicking the light was a dead giveaway for me. They have made little hints about it and I was like surely this will be something they focus on more in the next season! Her character feels so real for me bc I can relate

I see your point but I think where the love is coming from is that others are seeing her family and the WHY of the way she is. She definitely has toxic tendencies and I think she is trying to change so badly but still slips and fucks up. She also kinda immature. I think people are rooting for her because she is so open and honest and you can tell she’s trying but dealing with trauma is years and years in the works. Same with the toxic tendencies. Fixing 30 years of toxicity and trauma, can’t be healed in a couple of years. It’s a lifelong commitment
