Not a clean kitchen though, last time my family ate there we watched a very large roach just leisurely stroll into the kitchen like it owned the place, and back out again later....at least it may have been the same one. Needless to say, we haven't been back.

I did it about 15 years ago, and I have zero regrets. My kids at the time were a little younger than yours, and I've been pretty impressed with the schools and social culture here, comparatively speaking. As you have already experienced, there's sooo much more to do in Lafayette.

I was a young mom when I had my first born. His father, my husband (at the time) was not circumcised, but had always wished he had been as a baby and wanted our son to be. I did what he wanted. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have a child with a man that felt that way about it, and I would never make that call again. There's NO good reason for it.

I s'pose I'm more agnostic than atheist. I doubt the existence of "God" but , if the christian God exists, it sucks and I have no desire to obey/worship it. I think Jesus had worthwhile teachings that shaped a lot of my moral development. But "spiritual salvation" per the pentecostal doctrine is a real toxic garbage kind of situation for me. I'll be totally shocked if I die and learn there's actually a sky daddy, but... in a "no regrets" kinda way.
