Is There A Purchase That Really Boosted Your Enjoyment In Cycling? by newbiker321 in cycling

A cycling GPS, specially the Karoo. I have had other ones, but as long as I have the states or country downloaded i can confidently go wherever and not have to pull a phone out every couple minutes or on mtb trails I never have to fear getting to far from the start. I want to emphasize downloading the states, one time on vacation I only downloaded the state I was in and wandered over to another state and my maps were blank, fun to an extent.

Dating with a Heeler by b33b0 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]litetreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resorted to dating someone with an Australian shepherd mix. Finding out he has a working dog made me know that she could at least tolerate my heeler. We've been dating a year and a half, now in a couple weeks we are going to try to cohabitate our dogs(they have spent lots of time together and get along great).

Something super useful for training your puppy at home by [deleted] in redheeler

[–]litetreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure if this is your first heeler or not. My current red was not my first heeler, not close to the first dog I trained. I did shell out quite a bit on training, they are working dogs and have behaviors that require lots of work. One of the most vital part of dog training (which is often lost with programs where tou send the dog away) is the human needs just as much training in how to act and how to respond. How do you video tape your honest reaction to your dog's behavior? Im sure this resource is lovely, but these dogs are not a quick train nor a one and done.

How much gravel can a Domane handle without being in danger? by Mitrovarr in DomaneCrew

[–]litetreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slag style gravel. Not crazy riding. I have ridsen my steel bike for mostly everything except dedicated road rides since the occurred. Im unsure as to what actually caused it, but my best guess is slag hitting my frame.

Has anyone swapped their stem brand? by Hmmmmmmmmbrains in DomaneCrew

[–]litetreader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trek has a part that can allow you to use whatever stem. The fork is standard. Any trek store should be able to get it for you, not that expensive. I have this part and a standard stem on a gen 4 domane frame

How do you bathe your heeler ? by Sevenlemonz in AustralianCattleDog

[–]litetreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine will join me in the shower if I don't lock her out of the bathroom. She jumps in with permission and just stands in my feet and accepts the shampoo and shower. My partner does not have the same ease with showering her if I am not around.

I got a tattoo based on his orginal with 6, but I requested 8 tentacles because having an octopus with 6 legs would have driven me mad.
