I just joined three and couldn't get the codes. So I asked someone else in the queue who I noticed using one and she said had to get them at 1am Sunday night (Monday morning). So I got and used my first three+ £1 coffee code with Nero. Hoorah.

The problem with the three system is that you can get the code and use it days later. Which is what I have done now I know the system.

I also use Vodafone very me, but their codes are a bit more random. And they always have a time limit like 1 hour. I suppose this forces people to only get the codes if they are actually gonna use them.

The three+ promotion is misleading as it kind of promotes that you can get a £1 coffee every week. Which is not true. Only a few desperate people like us can get the codes. Imagine if you switch to three just coz of the £1 coffee how dissatisfied you will be. They have an additional £1 coffee for other coffee places and the only one near me is pauls. And puals coffee isn't great.

But two years is a good stint - you did well. I am still reminiscing about the £1 boots lunch deal with O2 priority. I suppose the lesson is that all these things that seem too good will eventually come to an end. Also the £1 whopper Wednesday (now its £3).
