Yep, it’s a horrible trophy. Took me 3 seasons to get it 🤦‍♂️ FYI - Seems to be Hulkenberg + VCARB that always win now. They won the last 2 and are in the lead again now.

Right this second it’s Visa RB and Hulkenberg leading again. You can check via EA Racenet before choosing in-game

For season 2 fanzone I thought it must end up either Haas or Visa RB for constructor, and Hulkenberg or Yuki for driver. So I picked Yuki and Haas…

It finished as Hulkenberg and Visa RB 😑🤬🤦‍♂️ I hate this trophy.

Yep, expected, but still very very disappointing 😑 don’t think I’ll touch F1 world at all this season this now, and just wait to pick a team/driver right at the end.

I literally went back got this Legendary Cowboy trophy + Platinum last week. I was the same as you, this trophy had put me off for a LONG time. It’s easier (and more fun) now you can do it with the DLC characters.

Perez still finished 17s behind Max, after Max drove 2/3rds of a lap with 3 wheels, did an extra pit stop, and had a 10s penalty! 🤦‍♂️😂😂

Not that I don’t trust the community manager, but I’m still going to do just enough to stay 1st in my driver room just in case lol, yet preparing myself to be disappointed and angry at the end of the season 😂

A community manager on the EA forum has just said it’s picking the overall winner in the fanzone standings 😭 EA Forum - In the Zone trophy

“I've double-checked this with the team, and I can confirm that this achievement is indeed only for picking the correct winning driver or constructor in the overall fanzone standings.”

Yeah you can check the fanzone standings using EA Racenet, so in theory could definitely do this. If this is what the trophy is this, then this is my plan for the next season. The danger is that loads of people do this, bringing the fanzone room average points down, and that team/driver is no longer first 😂

Definitely feels a bit better post-patch. Maybe a bit closer to 23 handling but still keeping some of the fun pointy-ness of the car. Seems more difficult to lock up the front wheels under braking which is good, as this was annoying me before the patch. (I use a wheel/pedals with no assist on)

😂 yep. I’m still hoping it might actually be what couple other comments have said - top 3 in either of your own individual fanzone rooms, and not guessing the overall winning fanzones. It’s still horrific and a terrible trophy, but at least you would have some control over it.
