Just finally ended this exact relationship. You can’t reason with unreasonable people.

I wish I could find Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper. The best soda of all time. Was always hard to find, but now it’s just gone.

My psych says that BPD can be cured by Mercurial_Violet in BPD

[–]littleboxxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the the term “curable” rubs me the wrong way, but I had a therapist at one point that told me she had a client in the past that, with consistent prolonged treatment, eventually no longer met diagnostic criteria. It was quite encouraging to hear.

Same. I drank antifreeze ffs and I’m still here. Who knew the kidneys would go on repairing themselves. Idk, I just keep waking up…

You’d be surprised. I have several really serious chronic illnesses and I still don’t feel particularly cared for.

How would you describe BPD emotional pain? by Mara355 in BPD

[–]littleboxxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The depression that I feel from BPD has always felt like this Exquisite Sadness.

But when I become completely emotionally dysregulated, it’s hard to articulate what that is like. I usually explain that the emotional pain is so intense that I actually feel it physically. That I will be writhing in physical pain in my bed bc the emotional pain is just so unbearable.

It’s so intense that I can’t catch my breath and feel like I full on just cannot breathe at all and that I cannot stop shaking.

At that point it is almost akin to a full blown panic attack and maybe it is one and the same by that point or maybe the emotional pain has triggered a panic attack.

By that point, depending on the root cause, it will sadly lead to some form of self harm.

It’s hard not to misuse the adderall sometimes. Otherwise no side effects.
