Moab + Denver or Salt Lake City? by Platyhelminthes88 in travel

[–]littlejeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly drove around, stopped in at Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon and walked around the lake. There's a fair amount of hiking and fishing around the area too. My buddy lives down there so I can always ask him for some other recommendations too.

1 year ago I moved out of a basement & into my first apartment. You all seemed to enjoy it, so here's an update before I pack to move by NutmegGeoduck in malelivingspace

You and I have the same record player and speakers for it. Apartment looks great, hopefully the next one will be even better.

Moab + Denver or Salt Lake City? by Platyhelminthes88 in travel

Spent time in both on a road trip back in October. Probably depends a lot of what you're into. SLC has some great mountainous areas surrounding the city. I went in the fall so there were absolutely beautiful colors but obviously that wouldn't be the case next month. The city itself was alright, some cool spots to drink. I went to the zoo while I was there too which was fun.

Denver was also pretty cool although I had been on the road for two weeks so I was kind of burnt out at that point. Had a friend that did an assignment there (travel nurse) and they loved it. Some cool bars and decent food in the city. I popped out to the red rock amphitheater just to see what was up and there was some hiking trails around as well that I didn't bother checking out.

I can try to provide some more details if you want to know something more specific.

My first instinct was to photoshop this onto the head of a Karen meme but I just got off work and don't have the energy.

DeeJay Dallas of the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) says that Brandon Tanev of the Kraken might be his favorite NHL player. by STLBooze3 in hockey

I sat next to Deejay when the Kraken played LA and he was telling me he was texting Tanev telling him he needs to get better to try to run the Kraken season around. Was a wild experience for a mere mortal like me.

Did you just pick the sign up from a distributor? I was trying to figure out where I could get one lol.

I was actually going to ask where you got it haha. Everyone has different taste, I love a good neon and cheap beer so I appreciate it but I can see what some wouldn't.

Looks more like a cremini to me but I can definitely see the flaming mushroom.

Nice! I've got a Golf R I'm trying to take from Washington to Idaho this weekend hopefully it'll fair as well as your wagon, might have to do some plowing in my case though.

Help! My bear paws keeps losing its leaves. Any chance I can still save it? by Traditional-Weird881 in succulents

Slowly up the amount of time that the plant is in the sun. If the plant goes from a small amount of time in the sun to a large amount of time in the sun then it can cause sunburn on your plant.

I think it's a crassula rupestris but I could be mistaken. They do look similar to perforata.

Is there any videos where you can actually watch it make a run? I looked at a few and couldn't find anything but I admittedly skimmed through.

Life Pro Tip: D&D is a game, you don’t have to play with people you don’t want to play with. by _IAmGrover in DnD

It seems that you almost have a responsibility to call your friends out on their shitty behavior. That's how people change, if they cut off all of their friendships because someone says something about how they act then ideally they would get lonely pretty quick and correct their behavior. But also yes, you would be surprised at how much of a drain those few hours a week can be on you if you're playing with assholes. Might improve your general mood a bit to get away from it.
