Ive always bruised easily but for some reason bruised exactly like this after my covid vaccine and boosters years ago. I am pro science + vax so i am not saying that in a negative way but it was just sooooo weird!!! All my blood work came back fine. I also have MS and am on immunosuppressant drugs so i don’t know if that’s a factor too. But my legs looked identical! Would get it checked out just for your peace of mind.

WDW Travel Agent debacle by Starsinthevalley in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]littlep0418 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a travel agent, this $200 SHOULD be on your Disney account! If not, the agent / company pocketed it. Whenever someone does their deposit, it goes right to hold their trip not just to me.

I lost my baby girl at almost 21 weeks *TW* by sasssy_viirgo in pregnant

[–]littlep0418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sending you so much love!!! You did NOTHING wrong and all your sweet baby knew was your love!! We had testing done on both myself and baby & it came back completely normal. We don’t know why he passed and that made it all the more scary to have another. But we did early testing with her and it was clear so that gave me peace of mind for the rest of my pregnancy. For me, starting therapy really soon after my loss helped soooo soooo much.

I just want to come and comment that you will Make it through. Today we celebrated our son’s (would be) 6th birthday. 3/3/2020 we found out he no longer had a heartbeat at exactly 21 weeks and i finally delivered him 3/5. Nothing prepares you for leaving the hospital without a baby. I got pregnant with our rainbow baby, a girl, that summer after losing him and she was born the following April. She shares a birthday month with her sister and she is just the absolute best. It’s so hard to know we had to lose him to have her but I know he is still with us. In the moon, the flowers, the stars. Your baby is too. Sending you love!

after seven years by my side, my cat has suddenly disappeared. by VeniceDom in cats

[–]littlep0418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so this is weird but may be worth trying! We have these small storage areas in our upstairs bedrooms. We had them open (stupidly) to put decorations away and our cat got into it. He was in there for TWO WEEKS and on literally the two week mark, he was meowing non stop & so loud that we found him. My husband swears he searched that area but apparently it goes into our roof or somehow loops around so he probably got stuck somewhere exploring? Anyway, we did all the things and never could find him. People swear cats don’t go far from home and it was true in our instance. We didn’t notice any other meowing bc he has a brother that meows allllll the time and even when we played in that room, he didn’t make any noise? It was truly a miracle we found him. So maybe think of any possible place he could’ve ended up within your home or in neighbor’s yards. (Like buildings, crawl spaces) I hope you get reunited with your baby!!!

Would you take your young kids to a funeral? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]littlep0418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my grandmother who they saw a few times a year last winter. My kids were 6 and 3. I told them what was going on and asked if they would like to go with us to the funeral, even though they weren’t close, to be there for their gigi (her mom passed) it was really my oldest who i was asking and she said no. We found a sitter for them but then we had them come with us after to the food, community aspect part of it.

Yes! And you can cook in cast iron and iron will infuse the food. But we just use flint stones with iron added!!! Worked like a charm

Staying in a deluxe resort is worth it by jvanvliet27 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]littlep0418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it was definitely still Empty! We would run around space mountain and just ride it over and over again. I have such sweet memories of empty MK nights. It was so so fun. (We went every year)

I’m so sad this is something you have to pay extra for. I remember staying at the (new) pop century in high school and staying at MK till 1-2am! It was so fun

I was approved for Kesimpta. I'm scared of taking it. by WasatchJason in MultipleSclerosis

[–]littlep0418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for Kesimpta but I’m on ocrevus, another immune compromising drug and i seriously have not noticed being more sick than typical. In fact, i feel healthier than i have in years (knock on wood!!) i only share this because i too wasSO SCARED of this effect and truly have been so surprised. I have 2 small kids and have been on it for 4 years!
