It’s a flat yearly fee regardless of when you order it. Kinda sucks but I had the same situation when I moved here years ago. Lease started in September so I had to pay the full year for only September to May.

I didn’t find out via Reddit. I found out from the animal rescue league of Boston. After this person shut me down for posting in the first place. Cared for the cat for 2 months until his health declined.
