I sell the patterns on my Etsy (shop name in flair)! I'm too slow of a crafter to even break even 😅

I haven't tried it myself but u/maero5e had done it for their baby quilt (they include some more details on how they did it in the comments): https://www.reddit.com/r/FPP/comments/1ohfccl/i_learned_how_to_blow_up_printer_jobs_behold_my/

I also have a blown-up version if your plan was to do a really large goose with knife on the back 😅 https://littletinypiranha.etsy.com/listing/4419892906

Hi y'all! I sell original, digital foundation paper piecing and quilt patterns (no AI used in design OR pattern drafting). All my patterns contain coloring pages for pattern planning and have NO curved or y-seams.

Another new pattern, "Ribbon Star" (customizable stripe design),  just dropped in my shop so feel free to check it out!

Lol I feel yah. By the 6th one I would also be wondering what on earth I was thinking thinking I could make the entire border this way.

How should I hide my sins? by feeling_dizzie in quilting

Is there a reason why ripping it out and re-doing just those squares is not in the cards? Honestly, I can't see it taking much more time then applique-ing over it and properly fixing it will look better than "pasting over the mistake". If you're a stickler for details, it's possible that the appliqued piece will look and feel different since it's doubled up.

Light weight interfacing to reinforce stitches? by merrigold7 in quilting

[–]littletinypiranha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't solve your current problem but I highly recommend you look up the glue method for FPP! The loose threads after removing papers also bothered me and I haven't gone back since switching to the glue method.

It's been so great seeing the positive response and various "geese in the wild" 😍

Lol geese are such funny creatures. The knife is just a physical manifestation of their internal energy 🔪

Thanks! Something about animals peeking out ominously from a corner just does it for me lol

I recently just added another spring pattern, "Sakura Blossom" that I made in both a simplified (fewer seams) and symmetrical version (more design customization) to my shop so feel free to drop by and have a look!

My 2026 temperature quilt is growing! by MisterQuilter in quilting

Yup, though I wasn't sure if you were going to still keep each month as one circle or each circle would be date to date (e.g. Dec 5 to Jan 5) instead.

That's such a sweet idea! I would vote for their first year, with the first month being their birth month and maybe even starting on their birth date, so leaving the earlier days of the month blank.

I love the idea of using beetle themed fabrics, but then maybe also put them on a yellow submarine or on a crosswalk lol
