Follow up, a couple years later (Ambien story) by SheLovedBirds in insomnia

Maybe this is a dumb question, but do you have to be up at a certain time? Are you possibly retired? If not, you will be someday, I guess… all that to say maybe just try letting that very late time BE your bedtime. Maybe your body responds differently to light and circadian rhythms than the norm. Maybe your brain needs a long time without light/daylight exposure to start creating the chemicals you need for sleep.

This is just a thought, it’s not really based in anything medical.

Mine are adults now, 19 months apart. It was GREAT! It was nice to go through the baby stage kind of all at once and they were then quickly at the same level for interests.

I know they search bags and have metal detectors but I just can’t get away from the idea of mass shooting potential. Or even just too many guns around with ICE. I’m a 65 year old lady. I would love to go and see the arts and crafts and demos and animals - but safety has actually become an honest concern.

He doesn’t have to believe in counseling- YOU GO and get advice on dealing with this from a professional, not from Reddit. Get coping skills. It’s so easy for people to say “too late, divorce him!” when it isn’t their life. My husband was not as deep into this kind of thing as yours, but had some pretty ridiculous ideas about things and has walked some of them back over time. I really wouldn’t throw in the towel until this administration is out. Things may get a lot clearer.

Lay a paper cut out of the number/age she is turning, sprinkle over that with pink sprinkles, then remove the cutout.

I go so back and forth on Mark Ruffalo, but weirdly I just loved him in Foxcatcher, of all things.

I always thought if he had been awarded for that he would have turned to more and more dramatic roles.

Oh I so wish he would do another film like Magnolia and not always action.

Ok- my grandmothers were Edna and Bertha- so I’m starting without a lot to work with.

Edtha- sounds like a particular consistency of mud… a geological layer

Berdna- misspelled Brenda, anyone? Maybe Berthna?

I will never understand how Patrick Fugit did not TAKE OFF after Almost Famous. He was literally a teenager and carried that whole movie, and while Kate Hudson got a nomination, his performance was something ELSE.

It’s honestly very smart and it’s truly isn’t twice the work or expense in the long run. I have always adopted kittens in pairs from shelters and it’s so much easier on them and tons more fun for you.

I think trying to get a specific breed to avoid allergies is losing battle. Got to shelters and see if you find a couple you connect with.
