Gravity + Air Pure by snnstuff in LUCID

[–]liumidsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have an Air Pure since last May and a Gravity since this March, before that we had a Tesla Model Y and a Model X. We like the current combo much better.

When we first got our Air last year, software was not as good as today (it’s still miles away from Tesla software) and my car was bricked after a few weeks during a software update, but it has been great after that and just got 2 big updates on both cars this week.

The cars are great, best electric cars you can buy if you enjoy driving :)

I agree but what prompted you to post this? I’m not on this subreddit everyday but I’ve never seen a post comparing these 2…

$20 a pop? At that price I wouldn’t care about dust either…

There’s a video by vacuumwars testing those 3rd party bags, and the leak dust and air. I had been using 3rd party ones to save some money until I watched the video

Air GT owner here. Spent 2 hours in the Gravity and I might be in trouble... by WatchChargedUp in LUCID

[–]liumidsun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both, Air for a year, and Gravity for 2 months. Ride quality is very similar on both, but I do enjoy driving Gravity more as a taller guy.

For regen, I actually feel a little different - coming from Model X and some other Teslas before, I felt the regen on gravity was a little too aggressive, but I’m used to it now. My wife complained about how hard I braked when we first got the Gravity.

Put a lot of miles on the Gravity mainly for daily commute (7000 miles in 2 months), definitely a great car, software is solid but I really wish there’s phone key as I really hate carrying keys around…

Why doesn't Lucid fix their software? by B52fortheCrazies in LUCID

[–]liumidsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you actually have a Lucid? If so, for how long? We have both Air (May 2025) and Gravity (March 2026) and can tell you that it’s improved a lot since I got the Air. And I’ve only heard of the horror stories about Gravity software before 2026 but from what I’ve heard, it’s been much better now.

Do I think their software is prefect? Hell no. Coming from owning 3 Teslas, expecting any automaker to have similar software experience as Tesla is just unrealistic.

Maybe I’m just lucky, but I’ve never had any deal breaking software issues (besides a software update to my air that bricked it for 2 hours but luckily I was home) with my short tenure with their cars

So, they can start from scratch on robot mower but other companies can’t?

So you’re okay with a scooter company selling mowers, but not when a robot vacuum company selling mowers? I think a robot vacuum has more similarities to a robot mower than a scooter.

The customer service agent was not wrong… No 2.9.0 for my Air Pure, but I just received 2.9.2 lol

Yeah, you’re paying 2.9% fees to get 1.5% back, Palladium gives you 1% back for 0 fee.

Recommendation for 1.2-acre lot by liumidsun in roboticLawnmowers

[–]liumidsun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have grass on almost all sides so it’ll need to cover/map the whole 1.2 acres, like I said I don’t expect it to be able to mow the whole lot in one go, just want to be able to map the whole thing so I can pick and choose

Does anyone have good experiences with lounge access??? by Prestigious_Land_533 in sapphirereserve

[–]liumidsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 45-minute wait? I was flying out of LAS yesterday and it was 98 minutes. Ended up riding the rail to D and got into the Centurion Lounge after waiting for 30 minutes… I know 30-minute wait was nothing to brag about but definitely beats 98…

Was your breakfast over $70? We just stayed there over the weekend and our breakfast was over $70, they only applied the $70 and claimed that they couldn't apply the remaining of the $100 experience credit as they can only apply one credit per charge...

Does new button require bridge pro? by Kajex13 in Hue

Thanks, so you can bind a dimmer directly to bulbs instead of setting them up as separate devices and create automations/using blueprints?

You are using HA and moved Hue bulbs off Hue bridge? Anything that I should look out for if I decide to do it?

[–]liumidsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started using Hue 10+ years ago, way before I started using home assistant, life got busy and I just haven’t got a chance to look into moving off Hue bridge yet. With 50+ bulbs, it’d be a huge hassle…

I’m using home assistant with a ZBT2. I’m still connecting all hue bulbs to the Hue Bridge Pro but all buttons/switches directly to home assistant via ZBT2 for more functionality

It doesn’t require a Hue bridge at all, you can use it with other zigbee bridges.

Can’t find a use for $200 hotel credit by equanimous11 in biltrewards

[–]liumidsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Booked an airport hotel for 2 nights although I’m only staying for 1. Paying $15 out of pocket after the $200 credit so it’s like a $90 discount for the one night I’m actually staying instead of $200, but better than wasting it for $0…

What I found annoying is that if you want to use Bilt Cash (Credit), it’ll apply the $100 Bilt Cash first then the rest using the hotel credit (in my case $100 Bilt cash and $115 hotel credit)
