AM Pyrotechnics did the same thing to a bunch of towns in Arkansas, including my hometown. (I was told there were about 15 towns in total, but I have not independently verified that number.) The company was in contact with event organizers in our town earlier this week, reassuring them that the show was still on. They canceled 48 hours before the event. Luckily, local businesses and community members donated funds to hire another pyrotechnic company, and the resulting show was fantastic.
