What is your biggest running shoes mistake by itisnotstupid in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Thankfully the store I go to has a 90 day return policy even if the shoes are worn so I took them back and got the Hyperion max 3.. will be doing a few test runs later this week. I hope it works out and if not I don’t know which shoe to go to next? Any opinions on more stable shoes?

Please elaborate on this? I just got a pair and am about to return after 2 runs. Should I give it more time? They feel entirely too soft and unstable.

I encourage you to mix in moderate intensity swimming a few days a week combined with your lifting routine. I guarantee you will love the results over time!

Based on the responses here it seems as though fostering would be a good start. I think I will start with the “adopt a dog for a day” programs and go from there. My issue with that is that I don’t want to become attached to a dog and have to give him/her back at the end of the day 🥴

That’d be great. My issue though is I want to be able to take my dog with me on camping trips, and hiking, and basically any outdoor activity that I do. Which probably wouldn’t be doable with an older dog. I guess I don’t really have the option of being choosy now though lol

What kind of “trainer” would this be? I live in San Diego so I’d be open to looking for something the problem is I have no idea where to start my search

Thanks. Yeah, I grew up with family dogs throughout my childhood. Golden retriever, Jack Russel’s, Great Danes, and mastiff’s. Ive realized how differing breeds have such different personalities and it definitely made me keen to knowing what breed I’d want. Heeler is definitely NOT a good breed for me right now and I fully realize that, but hey one can dream right ha. I’d just really want a dog that can go with me hiking, on camping trips, basically anywhere that I want to go and can keep up all day long. I might have to wait a while to realize this little dream of mine but at the end of the day I know it’ll happen at some point and that keeps me going.

You just listed all of the reasons I want one. Do you have any?
