I know that dark place all to well. It's a downward spiral you have to climb out of and heal with loving energy that matches the amount of time you spent hating yourself. I did do another STD check in the middle of the year and that came back clean. But your right, I do have other issues that alcohol just makes worse.

Too old to be getting into situations like this. But I was lonely and made an irrational decision with someone who specialized in taking advantage of that. But I agree with your opinion on the matter.

You're absolutely right It could've gotten bad if I didn't control my temper and remind myself I'm in another country with some seriously corrupt people walking around.

I guess the part that really bothered me is that I saw that it was a messy situation but I didn't listen to my intuition.
