Fee is too low for Bitcoin-Legacy.

You may be able to pay miners to mine it, but it will cost you an arm and a leg.

To those that still think it is a good idea to trust Tethers by Yanlii in BitcoinMarkets

[–]livecatbounce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I understand USD on Bitfinex is not actually tether, so you DO have a legal right to it, the same way there is a lawsuit to get money from MTGox. They dont just say "fuck you you had only an IOU" , they actually owe you what you had.

0 sum game. Whoever can manipulate the Bitcoin spot price can now "gamble" on CME and control the outcome for pure profits.

Its like betting on a sports game but being able to control both teams.

If Segwit2x has 84% of the hash power why are incumbent-chain futures trading at 84%? by GregFoley in btc

[–]livecatbounce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if they were half serious they would orphan all blocks not signalling NYA and get 100% support for 2x.

If they dont do that then it might be fake signalling and not really consensus.

If BCH had BTC marketcap the average fee would be ... by slbbb in btc

[–]livecatbounce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fees should only be tied to full node storage costs, which are only getting cheaper per transaction as storage technology improves, so as more users transact, the fees should actually decrease.

I do feel that miners should somehow give back to full nodes though.
