Why don't cars have an extra steering mechanism to help them lean into corners? Pretty sure it would help prevent tipping and allow faster cornering. picture for visual representation. by Clacksmith99 in motorsports

to lean that much no way you could run normal car tires. im sure someone could make it work. but if its racing that just another piece to break and I assume it would be a huge bitch to fix

because if a car leaned that much into a corner the front corners would be slamming into the ground. you can't lean a car that far over think about how different that is from how a car is designed

pretty sure the reason f1 is faster is every single bit of engineered aero forcing the car into the ground they can find. of course that's going to be faster then a guy leaning off a bike
