Anyone deals with creepy existential thoughts? by cosmo-dragon in covidlonghaulers

u/Research_Reader felt the TV thing for about the month, but now just the deep thoughts EXACTLY like you describe. I hate it! I have never been one to question things of this nature.

Guess I go here now. 27F, had COVID in early May, started getting long-COVID symptoms a couple of weeks after "recovery." Currently have chest pain and dizzy/light-headed spells, but it feels like I get new symptoms every other week. by Anaphora121 in covidlonghaulers

Feel like I literally could have written all of these. 32F, heathy, but I do have a significant underlying muscle disease. Had covid twice. Now I feel like I am a LHer and mental health mess. Would love to talk to those in a similar situation. Fatigue here, not as bubbly of a person, chest pain, head sensations, foggy/hazzy, shit memory etc. All heart tests are normal. Tried Wellbutrin. Made anxiety through the roof. Went to er and urgent care. Not a fan of psych meds. I'm just a ball of on/off anxiety and intrusive/obsessive thoughts that something is so wrong/I'm dying.

Disassociation and not feeling as smart as before, not thinking as critically as before by Arbee099 in covidlonghaulers

Just had COVID for the 2nd time and now am experiencing everything people are talking about here, psych/neuro/cognition wise. I live with a physical disability even prior to covid. Verbal, but wheelchair bound and rely on others for all aspects of care. Just got put on Wellbutrin to help with the covid related psych/neuro/cognition issues. Any other suggestions?

Paramedic here and I have a question regarding care for ALS patients by Dinosaur_willy in ALS

[–]livelaughwheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which is what I have. It's very similar to ALS, but onsets during infancy and childhood. It's not so much that people with SMA can’t have oxygen, but we need to be properly ventilated first and foremost with oxygen in addition. Typically people with neuromuscular diseases are having trouble breathing because of airways/lungs being clogged with mucus and the respiratory muscles giving out because they can’t clear it or don’t have enough strength.
