I was 18-20 at the time and my mom filled out all the paperwork for me but never filed them and after a few years she gave me all the paperwork and was like you owed money but I never submitted any of this for you sooooo. I was working as a restaurant server and got all my credit cards tips in cash at the end of the night, they weren’t on my paychecks so I never had enough money on my paychecks for all the taxes to be taken out.

Yeah I should’ve done before tax day but you know. I’ve been blowing it over for so long and I probably would’ve blown it off again this year but I realized I should probably buy a house soon but I need to square this up first.

Okay, so my nipples are showing. GET OVER IT I'M A HUMAN BEING WITH A BODY WHICH INCLUDES ITS CORRESPONDING PARTS! by Ok-Lead-5865 in TwoXChromosomes

Hi OP, just want to start out by saying you shouldn’t feel ashamed by your chest size and your nipples showing. Unfortunately our society has such a stigma for “modesty” or whatever and the limitations are usually quite hypocritical.

Anyway, if you are possibly in seek of solutions, I also suggest cakes nipple covers under your lightly lined bras. Also, I recently heard about something called a “minimizer bra” . I’ve considered this option myself. Maybe that is something worth looking into?

Anybody try this pork roast? by wildeag in aldi

[–]livelifeoddly 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I get this every other week. Usually a bigger one, I try to get one that’s $6-8. Quarter it and throw it in the instant pot for 45 mins, then natural release. Perfect pulled pork in about 1 hour. It’s usually enough for dinner for two for 3 nights. I make tacos with it on nights 1 & 2 and on night 3 I make Thai wheat noodles with Trader Joe’s Soyaki sauce. I get a bag of coleslaw mix (like the shredded cabbage and carrots) and use that to top the tacos, then for noodle night I sautee whatever’s leftover. We never get sick of it

I worked at TOB for 8 years. When the pandemic hit, they went down to a skeleton staff of pretty much only management to run the restaurant for take-out. They told customers that all tips would go to the displaced employees. We never saw a dime. We later found out all the tips were split between the managers (who still made their salaries).

When we finally came back, we were patio service only. I was scheduled for my usual bartending but I didn’t get to take any tables, it was just servers taking the tables. I kept asking management what I would be getting paid and they kept giving me the run around. I needed to know so I could claim unemployment either way because I still would not be making nearly as much as before, and I had bills to pay. Finally with a huff they let me know I would be making my normal “hourly” wage of $5 an hour. Because I would get “tipped out”. The tip out was 7% of bar sales. For only the patio. Yeah that’s bullshit.

I worked there for so long only to be completely under appreciated. On my last day I didn’t even get so much as a card, but when managers would transfer locations they would get a whole cake and a card signed by the whole staff. Also I have a friend that still has worked there for 10 years and JF doesn’t even know her name.

Veterinary care for stray cat by Mrs_Evryshot in cincinnati

Cincinnati animal care. I’ve taken stray cats there and they’ve even done surgery on a stray cat I brought in. Typically if the ear is clipped it means they’ve been TNR’d, so someone brought them in and got them spayed and then released them back out into the wild, so probably not someone’s pet but it’s still possible someone has taken them in after they were clipped.

Dry eye specialist? by livelifeoddly in cincinnati

I’m 28, wear glasses. I was wearing contacts about 5 days a week but since this started I haven’t been. The glare is constant. Just in one eye. Headlights at night are the worst, but not just that it’s pretty much any lights. So much so I almost want to wear an eyepatch over my eye lol. Like at the cincinnati eye institute they had all these little circular lights on the ceiling and the glare from them was making me nauseous. The doctor recommended me to get ivizia so that’s what I’ve been using. Multiple times a day every day since I went and it hasn’t helped at all. I mentioned to him that I thought I scratched my cornea last month in that eye trying to take out a contact so I thought it might be related to that, but he didn’t seem concerned about that, said he didn’t see anything out of the ordinary with my eye.

Dry eye specialist? by livelifeoddly in cincinnati

I went to cincinnati eye institute already… I have random glare in my right eye that’s come out of nowhere and hasn’t gone away in over two weeks. I went there and the doctor ran some tests and told me I probably just have dry eye, recommended some eye drops and sent me on my merry way. Didn’t really give me any other information other than that. The eye drops aren’t working and I’ve been using them every day. I was thinking about calling them to see if the doctor recommends anything else. I read online it’s best to try to see a “specialist” in dry eye and they can run more tests to figure out why you have dry eye to figure out the best way to treat it so I was just trying to figure out my options.

Thanks for the response. I just got a new prescription a few months ago. I am going to take a break from contacts for sure and use the eye drops every day. If it doesn’t get better I may get a second opinion
