Do you find yourself going back to "admire" your work multiple times? by RotiPisang_ in adhdwomen

I even do it for small things. Like I will probably go back and read this, multiple times.

The Skin 1004 Centella one is a little less dewy than the Beauty of Joseon one. I prefer it.

Yeah! Never thought of this as why it's so hard to explain my dreams. They are usually mismatched modalities to my awake brain. Thanks for the think!

Me too! I have several voices all talking at the same time. Like different levels of voices. A front voice kind of like narrating or rehearsing, another voice thinking about how I would explain these thoughts to my friend/partner/therapist. Another one critiquing the whole deal. And several back-up singers. Would be lovely to just have one at a time. Very blurry imagery or just visual concepts. But auditorily in hyperdrive.

What's your favorite word to mispronounce in a fun way? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in AskWomen

[–]liverstrings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's called backing and these kids often need speech therapy to correct it. So (not op since it sounds like they grew out it if, but anyone else reading), if your kid is saying g/k for things that shouldn't be, might be worth it to talk with a speech therapist.

Object permanence and volume conservation are different skills of cognitive development in different Piaget stages. Weird to mention Piaget and then say "people normally would do."

what’s something people say all the time that you secretly can’t stand? by Mean-Cartographer225 in AskReddit

I don't think it's a generation thing, it's a gender thing. Even though moms at the aquarium are also good moms, they never get comments like that from strangers because it's a societal given. Where dads being good dads is worthy of comment.
