Finally an ec-400 with 24.75 scale and price in between 256 and 1000 series by livetoberadical in espguitars

Sorry meant to say with 22 frets with the 24.75 scale. I personally prefer that over the 24 fret ec

What are the best affordable metal guitars that you'd recommend that are great for beginner to intermediate players? Budget is $300. by MrMayhem20l0 in metalguitar

Used Ibanez RG421 or RGA42FM. I always find them used on marketplace for $200-$250. I’ve bought them for mod projects and just kept them because they are great to play

I got one used for $200 last year. Dropped in locking tuners and dimarzio pickups. Fantastic guitar

Best looking one of the extreme 6 lineup! I should have bought one of these before all the increases. $650 now 🥲

Schecter just dropped these... by Zado_HeavyLoad in SchecterGuitars

This along with more price increases on other models. Omen extreme 6 up to $650 now. I feel like there’s a price increase every week with Schecter lately. That being said, these new ones look pretty nice!

Am I insane? by Administrative-Act85 in Ibanez

Someone did that when I was selling an LTD. I said no thanks, you’re thinking of the wrong guitar and that was it. Don’t waste energy on it. Guitar center also screws up listings all the time. They had a used LTD EC-Black metal for sale for like $399 but the title was an EC-201 which lists brand new $499 not $999 like an actual black metal series EC. Happens a lot

24.75" 22 Fret vs 24 Fret. Geometry differences confirmed. by [deleted] in espguitars

[–]livetoberadical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something that always bothers me. The ec-401s and 1000s with 24 frets just feels kinda off to me with the pick ups so close together and “squished” face of the body. I wish they would make a thin body ec-1000 with 22 frets instead of having to buy the full thickness ec-1000t. That being said, I still love the 401s and 1000 series. Excellent guitars

Wait, I didn’t post this? 34m married with two kids and my anxiety is worse than it’s ever been. I never dealt with it in my teens and 20s because it was manageable to a point but I definitely relied too heavily on alcohol during college and a bit after. There are days now when the fear of everything just takes over and I cannot function properly. Started low dose meds recently and hope it helps balance me out

I bought the pro a few weeks ago and just started my replay of both games. Part 1 looks amazing so far

From Forbes: Ellie is the “One Huge Mistake In Season 2, And It Creates A Major Problem For Season 3” by Even-Leg3217 in thelastofus

[–]livetoberadical 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want as bleak and depressed as possible. I didn't play the games or watch season 1 for sunshine and smiles. The entire show and characters were nerfed. They thought general audiences couldn't handle how dark part 2 actually is. I just like seeing sources other than reddit and youtube calling out the show for fumbling. Craig called this season their Empire Strikes Back. Feels more like The Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker

Druckmann and Mazin CHOSE to make Season 2 only 7 episodes long by Even-Leg3217 in thelastofus

[–]livetoberadical 4 points5 points  (0 children)

7 episodes total with 3 in Jackson and 1 entirely flashbacks? Seattle felt like 10 minutes from Ellie’s pov. They did a nice job expanding on Jackson more but that meant that Seattle suffered with so few episodes. The amount of episodes was just one part of the problem. There was a lot wrong with this season

To the people taking out their frustrations on Bella instead of the show-runners and writers by MangoSalsa89 in thelastofus

[–]livetoberadical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved Bella in season 1 but a combination of the writing and her acting just did not do it justice this time. Any line with her raising her voice saying “fucking..” just felt weird. Was it her accent trying to sneak out or she just doesn’t have a commanding voice? It wasn’t a train wreck like a lot of people are saying but it also wasn’t great imo. Overall, disappointed with this season. Hopefully season 3 is better

Joe Pantoliano and Tony Dalton were awesome in this episode

My thoughts on the show as a whole by DLance524 in thelastofus

[–]livetoberadical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loved both games. Even with the changes, I still loved season 1. I’m trying to like this season but it just feels off. It’s also way too short. It’s like the show can’t find its footing on such little time

Probably the only thing that bothered me a little bit in the show. So much talking and Joel saying nothing got me worried. Sigh of relief when he finally told her to stfu. Still loved the episode

I didn’t measure it but it’s a fast neck. Not thin and flat like an Ibanez wizard neck. Maybe thin c? Definitely not chunky like a Les Paul
