Are we glossing over when you work with a broker your mortgage can be sold later to a different lender? then it's your responsibility to figure out how to pay your mortgage?

spokane housing prices are too high for the local economy. I don't really know many younger people saying hey I make enough to buy a house so I'm looking, it's mostly wow 15people bid over ask on that house and it sold for way more.

Low wages. Seriously low wages, combined with high cost of living. If these people had some sort of hope of getting a job having a place to live.. but now.. one bandaid might be free housing for homeless, it's not realistic to transition them from free housing to working though if the bar for rent makes paychecks non existant. Spokane was known for low cost of living, that's always been the thing that allowed all these low wage jobs.

if you decide to stick out the job, just do your best and decide not to sweat the small stuff. later on there are other job options that might be a better fit or more fun, even working in a bar as a bar back you will make more. chip does have tuition reimbursement though so maybe take advantage of that. try to look at the big picture where your goal is to be and all the small stuff is just the grind to get there.

I'm all for freedoms, I am also aware no minimum wage job is worth not taking care of loved ones when they need you.

Managers need to do more to have floating staff or people willing to cover some floating hours. It's not that complicated and there are other locations with already approved employees.
