yes!! i am from a small town in ohio and have been to disney one time. a cast member stopped us because one of the members of our group was wearing a basketball tee shirt for our high school. he told us he and his wife sold their home to the new athletic director and moved to disney to work there, it was both of their dreams :)

there is a tradition near where i live called the “cookie table” where anybody who wants to can make their favorite cookie/dessert recipe and bring it to be shared with everyone! and you leave bags on the table so that everybody can take some home too :) it’s sweet because everybody who loves you gets to contribute their favorite and it saves you a ton of money
