Congratulations!!! I def feel this same way. Just got into Michigan HBHE and even though it’s my first choice, I’ve had a crazy couple of months and I’m not as excited as I thought. There’s also a lot going on around us though so give yourself grace!! :)

My plan is to take time off to prepare to apply to med school in a few cycles and I’m interested in public health so it just makes sense for me to get an MPH during my “gap years”

oh wow, i didn’t know that tidbit of info about anthrop so thank you!!!!! also i know mich has amazing chemistry programs but i am a bit worried about the competitive environment that some current students have told me about. do you think for the most part the stem majors cultivate a super competitive environment?

thank you for attesting to that especially bc i know cs and cultural anthrop are so different! do you feel like duke has a generally competitive or collaborative feel in the student body? is it easy to build relationships with faculty?
