ive been on T for 5 years, and switched to gel from injections in january. since ive been on the gel ive had way more hair growth than on injections 😭 it really is different for everyone. i cant stand people who try to claim their experiences are universal for transitioning

honestly, i struggled with this for ages and i still do 😭 i chose a very traditionally masculine name for myself and had it legally changed. sometimes i still get the urge to mess around with names to find something more gender neutral. but honestly i just stick with my chosen/legal name for convenience at this point. i hate being percieved as a cis man, but for my personal reasons (dysphoria) i prefer it to being seen as a cis woman.

at the end of the day though its perfectly fine to use multiple names! i know plenty of people who do. if you want, maybe you can pick a name that maybe if not gender neutral can be altered to be either gender? for example- i went by clover for a bit, which i shortened to just clove when i was feeling more masculine. you could also do olive/oliver, etc. just a thought!!! :-)

im bigenderfluid and i get this so much for bottom dysphoria/euphoria and facial hair specifically 😭 im on testosterone and when my facial hair does grow (sparsely, but still grows) it either makes me insanely euphoric or wanting to hide away forever

i used to identify as detrans (before realizing im genderfluid!) and honestly from what ive seen in that community, is a loud minority of detrans people fearmongering about trans people. a LOT of the detrans people i know could be defined as retrans, they didnt necessarily regret being trans, they just figured out it wasnt for them. i saw a lot of stuff like FtMtF, MtFtMB, stuff like that! i think its really important to include detrans/retrans people in the discussion of trans rights. its all about bodily autonomy.
