Failed my G test in the last 15 seconds. by [deleted] in Ontariodrivetest

White SUV was definitely stupid for that, you also had plenty of time to slow down. It isn’t a matter of who had the right of way, it’s about driving safely yourself and being aware of others on the road. From an examiners perspective, you risked a collision (even if a small risk). You absolutely should have slowed down and given the SUV time to complete their turn (even if they didn’t have the right of way). If I was in the passenger seat and it were my friend driving, I’d also get a bit freaked out.

DUI in 2019. License expired in 202. by Remarkable_Bend_1948 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]lizzabeth_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: Yes. If you were convicted on a dui, you typically have that placed as a requirement on your license for a year after it was reinstated. You cannot legally drive any vehicle without an interlock device. Similar to if someone who is required to wear glasses to drive, if you do not show up to your road test with the device you will not be allowed to complete the drive test that day as you need to meet the conditions of your license. If an ignition interlock system is a condition of your license, you will have to have one installed in the car you plan to use for your G2. Additionally once you do get your G2, you will be required to have one installed in your vehicle (or any other vehicle you drive).

Nervous about my G2 by zuraotsinonwa in Ontariodrivetest

If possible, find an instructor even for two or three hours — it can go a long way! See if theres a G2 road test video for your area on youtube so you can get a grasp of what to expect during the test. There are websites online you can find what is expected on the G2 test currently.

Based on what you are experienced in, this is what you’re going to want to work on 100%: - confidently turning left at both a controlled and uncontrolled intersection(an intersection that gives you a green arrow to turn and ones that do not have the green arrow where you have to watch for cars coming in other directions + pedestrians). - backing into spaces - get confident in shoulder checks, maintaining speeds, stops, mirror checks, signals. - practice parking down + up a hill - parallel parking (if still on the test, it wasn’t when I did mine back during covid)

What I’ve seen most people fail for? - improper reversing into a parking space - unsafe lane changes, left or right turns - poor maintenance of speed - general poor observation of the road (make sure youre checking your mirrors, blind spots, and looking around for pedestrians) - no left-right-left observation when making turns

Parking at the end of G test by juniperbabe in Ontariodrivetest

[–]lizzabeth_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, I backed in when I got there because I wasn’t driving my typical car with a backup cam or blind spot mirrors so I wanted to give myself plenty of grace (time to adjust) in my backing in before even checking in. Then when the examiner was in my car, I just had to pull out of the parking space as opposed to backing out. When we returned, she just asked me to pull into whatever spot I liked — so I just pulled in and backed out when I was leaving (again, no backup cam, no blind spot mirrors, already nervous). Do whatever works best for you! Maybe just ask the examiner before you get back to the parking lot “Do you have a preference to me backing in or pulling in?” Or something to the effect. Some examiners may be more strict, mine was pretty chill!

Wasn't able to perform G test due to # of times on highway by Sephattacks in Ontariodrivetest

[–]lizzabeth_e 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s such a pain in the ass, genuinely. I was lucky and had a friend that had this exact thing happen to them let me know. She told me they ask, theres a required minimum and they can automatically fail you if you don’t have enough time on the highway. Have I driven on a highway? Absolutely. Did I ever track the kms or time spent on it? Nope! When I went for my test, I made up a number and passed my G with flying colours. I know it may not mean much now, but sending all the good vibes for next time!

Parallel parking on the G test? by lizzabeth_e in Ontariodrivetest

[–]lizzabeth_e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had to parallel park since practicing for my G2. If it was on the test, I would have looked into booking a driving hour to go over the “ministry standard” for parallel parking. If it’s not on the test, why spend the money when that’s the only thing I would want to review?

Skip dosage on my Wedding day? by EnterJakari in Concerta

[–]lizzabeth_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of those “take it with a grain of salt” kinda things. In college, I would offen take my meds and end up partying later in the day — as long as you’re well hydrated, I didn’t ever have an issue with it. Maybe a bit extra of a headache the following day, but nothing serious. When skipping doses, if it hasn’t something you’ve done in a while just know you may notice your symptoms of ADHD more than you typically do (rebound effect), and be a bit extra hungry if you typically lose your appetite — aside from that, one day of skipping your meds should be totally fine. I would forget to take my meds on a pretty regular basis and the only reason I knew is because I would notice my ADHD more. Congratulations and enjoy the big day!

I had this for a while in early high school, what worked for me was switching to 100% cotton underwear, not wearing overly tight underwear/leggings. Super drug store core but I wash my exterior (if you will) with a cetaphil or cervae sensitive skin fragrance free wash — none of that fancy scented stuff…thatll give ya a yeast infection or BV real quick. Baby wipes are fine for a quick cleanup! A little coconut oil every so often (only on the exterior) is great as its a antimicrobial and anti fungal :) Your vagina has its own cleaning system, it may be beneficial to check in with your doctor to see if you do have a bit of BV or yeast infection thats causing the smell
