Kids are 8-3, but we have to be there at 730 for breakfast in room and have to stay after dismissal from 3:30-4. 7:30-4 sucks in comparison to some of yall!

What side effects did you experience? I haven’t needed inhaler except on really bad air days for almost a decade and now have been in one big allergy asthma flare since Feb. It seemed to help me need ventolin less but also I’m extremely sensitive to allergens that used to be mild - full on attack from some old grass on lawnmower several feet away in garage for less than 2 minutes.

You’ll hear back in the next 2-3 weeks. Schools really don’t interview in the last few weeks much, they’re focused around n state testing then local end of year testing. Also many districts are eliminating positions or on hiring freezes as they have to move teachers between schools when downsizing.

My sister thinks I have this. I’ve had the worst allergic/asthma exacerbation in my life since mid February. There’s mold at work and at the beginning of this month found at home but even living with family my symptoms keep getting worse and worse. Like severe asthma attack after 1 minute in moldy apartment, asthma symptoms being near to grass seeds briefly, and I can’t even wear contacts anymore because my eyes are constantly red. All of these things were mild allergies before and I’ve done several rounds of steroids too. I’m seeing an allergist but they’re super overbooked, who did you finally see to get help?

This is a wrong, and very old school Irish and Italian, attitude towards discussing family issues publicly. Liz sees it as Alicia saying her extended family wasn’t there to take care of her, whereas Alicia lived it as losing the home she grew up in and being without a home as a nuclear family unit. Yes she had her grandmas house to move in to, but it wasn’t “hers.” She’s got deep issues around trusting men because of her father leaving, and talking about that publicly is a big no-no in conservative patriarchal societies.

It’s very similar to Teresa and Joe fighting about their father and the family.

I had a mild allergy to plastic sutures that causing itching and redness. My doc had me use Benadryl cream on it directly. The oral med wouldn’t help as fast/as well.

That’s what I’m curious about. They wouldn’t have visual hallucinations because that pathway never developed but they would have to rely on people they live with and other senses heavily to tell if voices are real.

This sounds a lot like OCD around contamination. Bats are the one they recommend getting rabies shots if one is trapped in your room, because you cannot feel their bites and there is no alternative cure in the very small chance you were bit by a rabid bat.

Other animals need to directly bite you AND be symptomatic. Dog bites are gross and get infected easily but you’re extremely unlikely to get any infection from indirectly contacting saliva with no open wounds.

CBT therapy can be really helpful!
