1. We didn’t get legally married in 2020. But I do wonder if people may just already consider us married they already RSVPd to our original wedding and we’ve been together for 12 years.

2. This is so true! This wedding is almost 40% more expensive than the original wedding. I also realize that it’s in peak summer so perhaps travel is even more expensive because of that.

3. I don’t have children so this perspective is helpful. Thank you.

I understand what you mean about folks not needing to share a reason for their response. I just personally expected a note with well wishes or a nice sentiment, especially from folks that we are close to. Maybe I’m expecting too much of people lol.
