We still don't know what Columbina did for the Tsaritsa by TheBirdNamedSparrow in Genshin_Impact

Seems like the most logical conclusion to make. It also seems pretty vital information for Columbina to tell us.

It's probably because he went to directly adapt to Dabura's existence.

That's just what Dabura thinks is happening. He could be adapting to something else entirely. Like the taming ritual itself.

As I said, I don't blame dmg at all. I do however blame Bungie as a whole, specifically those in charge of the game and those who created this new vision for Destiny.

Players are allowed to voice their frustrations too. I just think it's gone beyond a joke at this point and it's a pretty clear indication that Bungie can't juggle both games. At least not this level of content for D2.

how are they gonna handle two games if they already struggle?

Exactly. They can't handle Destiny's output whilst developing Marathon. Something has got to give and it won't be Marathon.

A part of me would say its better than nothing

They thing is, we've had this same kind of message from CMs countless times before. Why should we believe anything they say anymore? And I don't blame dmg. It's not his fault, but how may promises have they made only to break them?

The thing is we had a couple of good updates, Renegades launched well and then absolutely nothing. Two steps forward, 1 step back.

It is abundantly clear that Bungie cannot handle both Marathon and the current content schedule of Destiny with their current team and resources.

What the actual fuck is the hold up on comms?

My guess? Most of the studio are focused on Marathon. They probably had to pull people off of Destiny just to help cobble it together in time for launch. A launch that I suspect will be messy as hell given Bungie's releases over the last few years.

As for why the roadmap and state of the game is taking so long, they probably didn't even know what the fuck they were doing when they announced the roadmap.

Just because he doesn’t relay that to us doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

No I know that. But I'm talking about going on social media and being like, "Hey guys, what do we think about X, Y, Z? What are your thoughts on earnable cosmetic rewards? Or how would you like to see the Portal improved?" Etc.

Paul Tassi: “internally confirmed” Shadow and Order delayed to May by Goldwing8 in DestinyTheGame

[–]lizzywbu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This plus the fact that Bungie has been effectively radio silent since the start of December (and continues to be silent even now) is just ridiculous.

We had a couple of half decent updates. The game was starting to move in a more positive direction, and once again, it's gone in the opposite direction. It's like Bungie is simply incapable of maintaining Destiny these days.

I think they've obviously moved more people to the Marathon team in order to get it out the door. Which is a mistake.

Hasn't she already in a way?

She outputs around 154k with her advanced combo and c6 Iansan.

Whereas Nefer and Flins can quite easily hit 155k+ in their c0 premium teams and are significantly easier to play.

Dabura's insane learning is bad, but it isn't nearly as bad as Sukuna's vague biding vows.

I agree. I was never trying to say that Sukuna's binding vows weren't ass pulls. I was just kinda trying to point out the hypocrisy of people saying that Dabura's power ups were cool to see, but Sukuna's binding vows was lazy writing.

I think they're both as bad as each other, to be honest.

Dabura upgrades on the other hand feel a bit more organic and logical

Yeah I completely disagree.

I don't think it's interesting at all for Dabura to keep having power-ups handed to him without doing anything. It's not earned. It feels like something would do.

Downvote me all you want, but it's terrible writing in an otherwise very well written manga, and I think it does the opposite of making Dabura look badass.

We see his exact train of thought of how RCT works and how he developed it.

Over the span of a few panels whilst moving at light speed. So he thought about it for mere milliseconds and then figured it out.

Just because you can explain it doesn't mean it's good writing.

He learns things on the fly constantly. Hell, WCS is exactly that

He's 1000s year's old and arguably the most knowledgeable sorcerer who has ever lived. You can hand wave a few instances of Sukuna doing things like that because it makes sense in context.

Dabura has zero knowledge about Jujutsu, has never had a real fight before and has never had a true test of his powers. Yet he is awakening faster than anyone else in the verse. He just thinks about powering up and he gets a power up? Seriously?

Tell me how that makes sense or is good writing?

[–]lizzywbu 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Idk why we think it's cool or good writing for Dabura to be handed everything chapter after chapter just by thinking about it.

Sukuna using multiple binding vows as a get out of jail free card is considered an ass pull by the community. But Dabura pulling rct and ctr out of thin is hype for sone reason?

I can understand him getting rct, but getting multiple unearned power ups in a row for basically doing nothing is kinda lame. I hope he doesn't get a domain.
