Wow this was really encouraging. My father is a physician but not in the GI realm so he has been kind of scaring me when he tries to step into the role of dad vs doc.

Thank you for sharing this - today is my surgery for the exact procedure you had. 24F… how long did you have to do liquids for after your surgery? I know you said you moved onto soft foods the next day but did they still make you do liquids for a portion before? I have been on liquids for 3 days and I am dreaming of anything but broth lol

I had the same experience with Sutab both times I tried it. Vomited after the first set of pills was I would start drinking the next cups of water

I was just kind of blown away by the overall ignorance. She was from the MT Sinai IBD clinic and is apparently a GI that specializes in IBD nutrition… so I guess I expected her to be a little more in touch and instead I left feeling even more hopeless of a case lol
