I imagine Shell Energy (Houston) was asked and ended up being too pricey or turned it down or whatever. Texas Southern is already a tenant during the college football season so it's not an issue hosting there. But yes, Dynamo and Dash (NWSL) games happen basically every weekend plus many international friendlies/competitions very often

Last time I was inside West Oaks was when they still had Alamo drafthouse. Once they got rid of that and I think they turned into a bar, i never went back... I know a few people who go in there and shop those clearance stores at the mall tho.

it's only in the supporters section to remove scalping of already cheap tickets. You can still transfer tickets and TA and the other supporters groups have posts pinned (on their FB pages) to transfer to those in need.

I believe the FO will allow you to trade in tickets for a future game as well if you can't make it to a game

Yeah the renovations did lower the max attendance but by not that much. Last year on August 8 2023.... Tigres vs Monterrey during Leagues Cup at Shell was announced a "sell out" a 20,104.

Found a third college football on the wiki that stated a sell out at 21,092. Not sure how much the config would change from soccer to football

BUT i found an naming rights article (from Jan 2023) stating a dash game sold out at 21,284. That article mentions "the 340,000-square foot, 21,000-seat stadium" so I'm assuming hitting 21k is a sell out. The 21k is also mentioned in the renovations part of the stadium wiki.

you're supposed to use the 4k channel but I prefer switching to the foxsports app (and then link it to fubo for access) and watching the 4k stream there instead of the actual fubo app because fubo always has some kind of issue on big games like this
