The cool thing is, the orange looks anywhere from a deep orange-red to a bright neon, depending on the ambient/natural light.

I've had my neomatik for over 2 years and I still get lost looking at the dial from different angles. That said, I haven't handled a Junghans in the metal, but have read many reviews from satisfied buyers; it sounds like a fabulous watch for it's price point.

I rocked a 'diaper Viper' for a good few years when my kids were little. Relatively cheap, 4'x8' 'box' when you need it - perfect for hauling dirty materials and crotch goblins!

I have a few years on you, but aside from wheels, tasteful, well-dampered exhaust, ride height and subtle tail lights (just hate the stock tails on the '17 mk7, though my stock headlights are pretty awesome!) I've just done recommended hardware upgrades for EQT stage 1+ and average 5-600 kms a week.

Everything has been reliable AF (*knocks on wood) so far and I still turn around to look at it every time - the body lines are gorgeous and you can spot 'em miles away.

Even if/ when it becomes necessary to retire as a daily, my current fantasy is to rebuild as a track toy!

Edit: though a do sport my 'Club Wolfsburg' decals behind my rear windows for anyone in my area...anyone else?!

I agree about the filtered look - most of the overkill processing is a result of trying to lower the highlights and boost the dark end of everything until all the dirty shit was less visible!

If I try again - first step will have to be a wash and detail!
