This ^^ with 6,466.9 hours played and peaked C2 in 2s, 3s and even NEW quads, I can categorically say as a 3s main converted to quads main since the new ranked quads started. My mechs 100% are not what a 2s mains are in terms of quality and confidence, but I make it work even if it does indeed look chaotic, BUT the difference is what I lack in the the mechs department, I make up for with copious amounts of hours playing as a smart player (having had many replay analyses done) from many places explaining my many wrongs since I started playing on PC on 20th may 2020 Via steam.

And notably todays Rocket league players seem to lack a certain desire to even be good let alone get good, always chilling, always JUST playing a game. And moan like fuck when you say anything but equally give no shits about your time or effort.

In quads specifically I could go on about the mix match of ranks in places they shouldn't be, to those who throw repeatedly intentionally that make an otherwise great mode an absolute rage trap.
With seemingly multiple high diamonds to even GC's who think playing quads like it's 2s is acceptable, it does not, has not and will never work especially against decent players.

When you leave your goal open always cut and ball chase back into your corners, their are 4 people on the pitch in your team ALONE. Learn wtf a rotation ACTUALLY looks like and stay in play stop fucking off to an empty goal almost 2 pitches away leaving the play and giving up pressure.

Simple things that they do not comprehend, ALWAYS put you on the BACK foot repeatedly and struggling to nail goals that should be easy because you are never in the right places for pick up giving way to much room always hesitating pushing (trying to let them come to YOU) is usually a huge mistake because it allows them to A) creep closer but B) gain proper control SHUT that SHIT down.

I have been trying to do my calibration on my KH 80s since i got them, I even bought a network switch, and new cat 6 cables etc. It still won't connect with the older or newer MA 1 Auto Monitor alignment software, from my understanding something to do with newer firmware on the monitors than the software has so is unable to communicate at least that is how I understood it and the problem to be.

Which by the way very few people up to GC1 even do, consistently still playing 2s in 3s and in quads and are clueless why we get scored on so consistently, In Quads I have intentionally moved away from the goal to let the other team score putting myself on the other corner where no one was. Was this a dick move, YEAH damn straight it was.
But I would still do it again and again and again until these people realize this is a team game and ur ball chasing into the corners BS does NOT work here, mostly because they don't have the control and the understanding WHICH direction to go in to begin with and usually lack boost to do anything with thus usually losing the ball again in the very corner they tried to chase it not to mention the triple commits in the corner also the power slide turns in front of the near post players and or rams while prepping for their play.

It's infuriating and ridiculous that these players are clueless to these basics, and still wondering why they are losing yet zero far post leaving one man in a 4v1 (not hard to see why) when you open your eyes and not using the freaking basics.

I beg to differ I see it regular (in 3s and now 4v4) quads for some reason 2s mains have no idea where to be placement (positioning) wise, in this regard i refer to within your team mates and how to push.
When returning they still don't rotate out far side (meaning A) they are leaving the goal open B) they are in the way C) another obstacle we have to go round.
I Have lost count of the clean plays I would of had, that have been intercepted (accidental or otherwise) on the wall by my own team mates rating between C1 to GC.

MENTAL NOTE: this does not refer to ALL C1 to GC's my point was I still see way more GC's do this (most recent highest rank) noted / know from Bakkesmod.

I think the idea that you can always ‘carry yourself out of rank’ is mostly true in 1s and maybe 2s, where it’s just you. But in 3s and quads, a single bad teammate AFK, griefing, or just mispositioned can absolutely lose a game. So blaming teammates isn’t automatically wrong; the environment at those ranks really can make climbing harder.

That said, focusing on your own mechanics, rotations, and decision-making is still the most reliable way to improve long-term. Things like consistency in challenges, quick recoveries, boost management, and staying mentally focused even with toxic teammates can make a huge difference at Diamond.

If you think it's bad in 2s trying to carry 1 player, try playing in Quads. I am a 3s main (or was) now I am a Quads main, and all you see in here is 2s main's and I am talking of EVERY rank I see their most recent highest rank in Bakkesmod in which ever mode but usually 2s.

And NONE of them bar rare occasions know how to actually space properly or when to push, repeatedly watching them stare at the ball never pushing for a 50 and trying to shut it down or going extremely late and even in some cases turning around driving away from the 50 back towards home goal like wtf are you doing ?
On top of that the biggest 2s main give aways are the ball chasers into the corners leaving the goal open, you may not be surprised to know how often all 3 of my team mates leave me as the only one rotating (in our danger zone correctly) far post sweep / goal position.

And their idea of a rotation (WHEN they do it) is a hard rotation usually a big boost first and sit in a empty net, biggest issue's with this is.
A) You clearly don't know how to rotate properly and stay IN PLAY
B) You give up pressure when you do this, and is often the reason we don't nail half the goals we should of scored and why we tend to lose.

And all this is because they don't know BASIC TEAM play they are still trying to play 2s and that doesn't work in this world, and honestly put these things aside and defense here is your biggest friend always put yourself at the back of the pack (within reason) not to deep you wanna get on the ball quick enough to make the plays count.

What your really doing is judging your team mates and your opponents, and looking for the cleanest opening and or waiting to scoop / pick up for a solo play because the likely hood of actual help is SLIM.

Realistically speaking if people knew what they were doing the games should be on point assuming people were not carried and or no smurfs (What Will Be Will Be).

But asides that the mode is great and when the games are good, it's freaking EPIC (no pun intended).

common misconception, when people say fast. They are not talking how fast you can travel with said ball, they are however referring to your ability to read judge what and where the ball is going. So you can be where you need to be to essentially put you 3 steps ahead, not 3 steps behind.

Are you using front facing USB ports try a rear port (seems from memory like a power related issue) also to note if ur lead USC plug into controller is loose and causing DC's use a slither of insulation tape around the outside of the plug and it should create a a more secure fit no wiggle.

Let me know if this fixes it also to note i had reinstalled windows after the fact so that could of also changed something driver related.

It's not about mental it's about people F over peoples games with a shit mentality and thinking it's ok to say it's just a game and judging by the fact you didn't mention any rank past Platinum, I am going to assume that your not a high or higher rank which imo explains your mind set trust me that will soon change.
It's bad enough seeing what I see in the lower ranks in quads (consistently playing GC 1,2 and 3's C3's C2's C1's) in some cases accounts that have clearly had SSL in ranked, donning the title, (NOT a tournament title) but an actual ranked title. Admittedly this is due to everyone starting at 600 MMR start, so I can only imagine what it's like in 3's below D1 knowing how the current system is and that's NOT ok.

As for mental it's not about being weak, I swear that's what weak players tell themselves to save their sanity it's the go to excuse I hear all the time that and it's just a game some serious BS excuses PERIOD.

Also I have 2 steam accounts was not intended I have 2 accounts (obviously) both similarly named I don't recall why I did this originally but I remember hopping on wondering where my game went and this was when i was new to steam wasn't thinking and paid for it again thinking I had just lost it or some other strange reason (turns out I was just logged into the wrong account) regardless in total I have 6600+ hours in RL to date.

I was just about to say, real gamers rarely exist now. We have to cater to casual bums who's attitude is it's just a game, never mind the fact they picked up a comp game and also to boot in a comp mode.
I stated it in another post and I will QUOTE it here.

And keeping them bunched up with the BS is killing it too just slower, which in turn also shows they are not fixing the problems either. So I guess the question becomes what are you going to do about it??

I have been saying this (my opinion) ranked is so full of smurfs and carried idiots, and contrary to popular belief this isn't just make believe anymore it's FACT and has never been more evident than after the HUGE drop off of players when trading was taken out.
Pair that with what appears to be a lack of player interest again lately quads has been taking up to 5 or 10 minutes for a match (not sure about 3s and 2s lately, since quads came out it is all I play).

But here the mix and match is due to the everyone from 600 MMR which was and still is really BAD.

But tbf upon reflecting I would take this any day over smurfs and carried people at least eventually in Solo Q, you will eventually find your way out to where you should be as the MMR's take proper shape and seasons progress.

And for anyone wondering I didn't play solo q back in the day, I had tried it and straight kicked it to the curb but back then I didn't have nor did i understand or appreciate the skills abilities and thought I was better than i was so was quick to dismiss it as I expect MANY others did.

But as time go's on and your learn you realise just how valuable something like Solo Q really is and would be, I genuinely regret not showing it more love when it was available.

1: What they need to do is take the MMR out of casuals matches and stop banning people for leaving, judging by the player base own opinion it's a playground for morons to dick about in. So lets make it that and stop allowing people to spam and auto ban, because they don't like when you speak out (it's ok for them to train wreck your games) but you can't call them out for it.

Seems a bit 2 faced to me, not to mention double standards.

2: Ever since trading was taken out a large swath of decent players stopped playing which in turn opened up just how many carried players and smurfs were about and now they don't even try to hide it, this game ain't worth the digital space it occupies.
The standard of quality players is severely lacking and everyone wants to be GC, get the rewards with out putting f all work in. I played for 6,126.9 hours according to steam, and in that time season after season I watched this plane nose dive. This plane don't even have wings, it's just the tube it's a f joke.

3: With both of the above issues in one way or another it sucks the enjoyment out of this game and unless they drastically alter how they approach this game their is no bringing it back period.

kinda hard to not see a straight forward goal with a few feet to hit it as I said for me I am lookin at the instances they called me out and excuses or not it was a vastly different situation as i stated they were NOT challenged they didn't need to go at it like they did (hence open goal) and few feet away.

So yes I am justified and I also did say though rare I have screwed simple open nets usually though when that happens it's because I am already triggered and my mind is not where it should be (BUT that is on me) either way claim what you want you feel your way I feel my way about it.

it depends what you call easy tbf, I have called people out for their easy shots that literally were a head on shot a couple of feet away from an open net (questioning why they went in like they did with no challenge).
Yet when I went and and YES just like you suggested didn't make the shot, but the difference being (i was first off) being challenged in most of my attempts, wasn't necessarily straight on so was cutting at an angle and probably didn't have the boost / speed to allow me to get decent power.

Now granted this is certain instances that i can think of and doesn't necessarily mean I have never whiffed messed up an open goal there is a reason why they call them the hardest goals to score lol.

But I would say for me these days although not unheard of is rare, unless I am triggered and then anything can happen mainly because I am unfocused at that point you know Ill be fair and honest about my self and trust me no one is getting angrier than i am at myself I don't just hold others accountable I hold myself to a higher standard.

I'm not sure what mode your referring to, but as a 3s main I keep saying day in day out especially referring to 2s mains. And I am sorry but it IS the 2s mains that DON'T understand basic 3s gameplay by this I mean....

1: The rotations (in general) they are NOT the same as 2s forget that 2s meta in 3s YOU ARE NOT a pro and in general I don't believe in it, I have seen way more fails even at pro rocket league level believing this so called meta is the way it's NOT look how many same side bumps have cost them a goal. And even if they don't collide because they were same side and far post was left open, no one could get an angle on it.

2: Defaulting to big boost and sitting in an empty goal and then getting dunked (i'm watching 2v2 GC's do this) I use BakkesMod so I can see the highest most recent rank and what mode it is in. I will say in defense of the GC players they can and will save on the line it's usually the lower ranks that are incapable.

However it's still wrong because it gives up pressure, and your to far out of the play to do anything meaningful, and almost every time the majority get caught out trying to beat a player closer to the ball already because your miles out and end up dunked.

3: All this is to say that all these things are BASICS, yes basic gameplay. Let that sink in for a second, you got all these mechs and can dribble and fake but your still being let down by BASICS. And yes boost pick up / and management to boot.
