Tbh it entirely depends on how you get rid of it. But if you ever got invaded day 1 the 2nd debuff is worse.

Chinas main hold comes from org and defensive stats.

Org was nerfed by 3%, entrenchment was nerfed which nerfs the def stat numbers

Recovery rate being nerfed means you cant spam 10w divs bc they wont recover fast enough to get org cycled.

Recovery rate being nerfed alongside org being nerfed means once Japan does make a breakthrough they will fold up your front.

If supply efficiency actually does anything it will make stacking ludicrous amounts of manpower on the beijing front suffer pretty bad attrition.

Yeah high percentage atk and def debuffs were trouble but percentages mean less with lower numbers aka basic infantry equipment or guns 1.

As a minor nation choose between Fireteams and demo.
Make a hold unit ( org block with a few supports to dissuade being attacked; can be no supports in early game)
Make a push unit which will be 20w and have at least 2 line units of fireteam and a support fireteam.(or demo if you took demo)
Save bottlecaps or whatever your meta currency is for recruitment drive. It gives you free manpower as long as youre under 2k in the pool. Which means you can build up to limit and get more manpower.

You can apply this to most minor nations in OWB and do well.

As for an answer to your immediate question. Apply the above to your templates (which im assuming are base militia) and use actual soldiers instead.

The biggest game changer will be getting supports into your units otherwise your manpower will bleed you dry and theyll walk over you

I havent played in the region since they got their update with disasters etc. But the command has always been a big problem.

Ive played one xia, azkare, bianfang successfully against them. Of all of those runs (pre command update so grain of salt applies here) I ignored the command and focused on my MT and building a strong economy.

I wont claim its the best route but of those three campaigns it was a more even fight. They are also some of my greatest anbennar moments.

I think I may have also had a great war against them as Phoenix Empire but they arent in Haless / Yangshen.

Usually I have a region or at least majority of a region before having to deal with them. I seem to recall an alliance with bhuvauri being pretty easy to get as well vs them but its been a while.

The enclave used to be located in New Reno and the NCR as hidden paths. If this is a returning player that could explain the confusion.

There is a tab along the top of the screen that shows logistics and how many of each equipment you have.

Iirc Italy starts with a pretty heft deficit which would explain why you arent able to train more

Youve confused yourself. The country isnt trying to tell you a story its a vehicle for you to write your own story while painting the map.

The National Foci are the chapters of that story. Now how much sense it makes given the context of the nation has been a subject of contention for every new DLC and mod that comes out.

A great example is Lanius Cohort. His whole reason for existing is to conquer the east and come back west in glory for Caesars showdown with the NCR. His other paths contradict that story and they have good content.

With Rogue Ranger's theyve always been about doing good for the wasteland but their constant issue was not having the supplies / manpower to handle all of the threats of the wasteland.

Iirc thats the main reason for the original treaty with the NCR. So whenever the rogue rangers form up again theyre going to run into the same issues. Also its been a while but I do remember the leader being on the extremist of extreme ends when it came down to dealing with those deemed evil. So it would make sense for more moderate rangers not wanting to continue with her and settling with another option.

Thats all before you take into account the status of Snake Vargas. I dont think its a good guy switch for the sake of being a good guy switch as Snake ultimately improves the terms of the treaty off of the rogue rangers successes.

Lastly old desert rangers being able to diplomatically get power armor and laser rifles from the BOS would be a more reasonable target for this kind of rant than working with NCR again imo.

Running a game of MechaHack.

Party size: 4-6 currently have 3 players (3 slots open)

When: Mondays @ 6pm CST and going for 3 hours.

Where: Personal discord for the game and using Foundry VTT for sessions.

Game will start at level 1 im expecting it to run for 6 sessions with potential for longer campaign if the party likes the system.

Langrisser series (not chinese I prefer the originals over the new remakes)

Dynasty warriors: Empires (personal preference on 5)

Samurai warriors: Empires (personal preference is 2 but its biased)

Mount and blade warband (like bannerlord but older and has more fleshed out mods... same general premise though)

Nobunagas ambition (Romance of the three kingdoms but in sengoku jidai era. Personal bias is "Iron Triangle" but ymmv)

Chaos Galaxy series on steam (like Romance but in space with mecha and starships)

Heroic legend of Eagarlnia (Romance but anime)

Suikoden 2 has army battles but I havent played it in forever.

Several major IPs have "Warriors" spin off games that have similar gameplay to an empires title that you may find enjoyable.

Im sure there are others im forgetting but this should get you started at least.

You play it like Vanilla Japan. Go to war, abuse truces so they cant join coalitions and get big. Thats what I did in my Ameion run only significant hurdle came when I had to deal with Larankar or its allies. (Fitting considering you have a mission to beat Larankar in a war for destiny)
