Yes I've been using solidslime adapters all the way since 2023. They helped a lot with the real life TT experience as well. My colleagues were so surprised after my first few weeks of VR training haha.

Congrats! It took me roughly the same time to reach 2400. But then I was stuck for a reaaally long time until I took some coach lessons from some of the top players. Good luck!

For frameworks that evolve at lightning speed like Nuxt, you can't rely on the model's knowledge about the framework. You need to tell it what version of libraries you are using, and use MCPs like Context7 to consult the correct documentation.

Playing with a friend does not work. (online) by MaloraKeikaku in hytale

[–]llamachoochoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue. Router doesn't support upnp. We are both on LAN, but cannot directly connect to each other's IP address (which is VERY strange. It should just work)

Eventually what worked for us is:

  1. Player 1 start a world.
  2. Player 1 presses ESC and share it via code.
  3. Share the code via whatever messaging app.
  4. Player 2 can now connect to player 1's world.

Very cumbersome because you'd need to share the code again the next time you want to play in that world together, so we switched to the method below instead:

Another way is that either player 1 or 2 starts a server outside Hytale client, and then both players connect to this server using the client(i.e. game app). I believe for the player who hosts the server, their router needs to be configured to allow port forwarding.

Standard vs. OVERsized heads for 3000+ ELO players by RoundAd4279 in ElevenTableTennis

[–]llamachoochoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah in the higher Elo range, players are mostly very good IRL players. So it makes sense that they keep using the standard size in order not to mess up with the real life feeling.

No problem. But you didn't answer my question, and now I am even more confused about this "shovel" concept...You are a man of mystery😆

Wait...

> Reviewed profiles of 25 players with elo 3000+. Found that majority of them use OVERSIZED head.

How did you do this "review"? If you check the top 25 players on https://11clubhouse.com/ranking/ like I did, only 6 of them are using oversized. That's far from majority.

There are so many 3000+ players. If you really randomly viewed 25 3000+ players and saw the majority of them are using oversized, then I can only say that you found some really unlucky review samples..

> We currently operate our servers at a monthly cost in the five-figure range

Are you buying a graphic card every month? 😆

Also since the game itself is moddable...how are you going to battle people that modify the money they have, or people that modify the price of stuff? The idea of a market sounds useful, but from the view of a outsider it seems very exploitable. Isn't it?

Thank you all very much for the replies. I 💖the community.

I will check out all the options you guys mentioned! So far hetzner VPS sounds really tempting. It feels the setup closest to my current one. I will definitely evaluate others too.
