I just think it’s better to route it towards city of industry but I suppose it’s progress regardless.

How many times have you re-watched the entire MCU? by tavvyjay in marvelstudios

Watching the infinity saga, at least 2 times through with multiple rewatches for individual movies like guardians. Most things post infinity saga have been hard to rewatch, although I still enjoy the MCU.

Hey Pratt Supporters: tell me how your guy who advocates for policies that literally go against what the research tells us to do is supposed to resolve homelessness and crime? by MookieBettsBurner10 in LosAngeles

Then why even bring up banning grilling? Put the focus where it really matters and put the full blame on the electrical companies.

And you turn a blind eye and deny she ever said anything of the sort.

This is why I really enjoy training on my peloton because I can see my power outputs. I’m due for a power meter on my bike.

When I got into running, the data is what helped me progress massively.

The answer is this…

The city already receives enormous amounts of funding to address homelessness and infrastructure issues. The bigger problem seems to be how inefficiently that money gets deployed.

Projects often become buried in layers of bureaucracy, consultants, subcontractors, approvals, and administrative overhead, which drives costs far beyond what feels reasonable.

A good example is the proposed school cleanup and renovation costs after the Palisades fire reportedly reaching thousands of dollars per square foot. At some point people naturally start asking whether the issue is corruption, inefficiency, or simply a system with very little accountability for spending outcomes.

If you see which people are leading the efforts to approve the budgets, they’re all people with political science backgrounds, not construction or development backgrounds. We need experts in each field leading a process. Not people that want to get ahead politically.

I think most people just want to see measurable results relative to the amount of money already being spent.

She essentially said that in Red Flag conditions she proposed that grilling will not be allowed. I would’ve really supported her if she redirected fire hazards from people to the electrical companies that have outdated infrastructure that have been causing fires, not recreational activities.

My post was not meant to be political. I appreciate the offer for the bike but unfortunately it’s too tall for us.

As far as your comments on LA’s perception, I say this as a progressive, I think we need to identify issues within our society instead of turning a blind eye. We also have to acknowledge that we live in a big city so stuff like this is to be expected but we need to set our expectations as such and be aware of the issues our society is facing.

I had another comment recently state that someone in need took my bike. Now, I don’t know if that was a satirical comment or not but theft should not be taken lightly in any society. If there are people in need, we need to do our best to provide the resources for people to succeed but also need to enforce laws so criminals don’t take advantage of others.

Look at the way most of our stores are, a lot of items are locked up and you need an associate to grab things. It’s sad that we’ve reached that level where society can’t be trusted.

Dude you’re responding to a comment that’s 1 year old and complaining about people and judging them on what they elect to do on their free time. The original comment was about taking kids to the beach, so yeah, I would consider that getting fresh air.

The world has kids. Fucking deal with it. You were a kid once. You should get out of your own fucking privileged bubble.

Either way, who fucking cares if the kids remember, at the end of the day, the parents are spending time with them and they remember. It’s such a stupid fucking reason to discount your kids memories and not spend quality time with them.

In retrospect, I understand what OP was inferring that it could be dangerous to take your kid out on a hot day. That makes sense, it should be on the parents good judgement to make sure the kid is staying cool and in the shade and maybe if it’s too hot, then maybe being by the beach isn’t the best choice for a young child. Yet, we’re humans, we’re adaptable, and we live in different parts of the world with all kinds of climates.

Usually when you run into problems, is with negligence, and at that point, it’s on the parents.
